Channel spamming is needless, repetitive messages in the chat channel. It can make it tough to carry on a conversation or find a match.

• Use the BowlBot command to look for a game rather than just shouting over and over again, but be reasonable. If you type "bb lfg" every 3 seconds until you get a match, all that people will be able to read is a list of your teams. Exercise some moderation here, ok guys? Also, if you only want to play with one of a few teams, be sure to use the team name. "BB LFG <team name>" will display only that team. You can show multiple teams by seperating teams with a | (ie: "bb lfg khorne|chefs|daisies" will show any of your teams with the words khorne, chefs, or daisies in their names).
• Direct your requests to the proper channel. FUMBBL has been running its own IRC server for a while now and new channels have been created to serve a specific purpose. Go to #fumbbladmin if you need to talk to an admin or in #approval if you want to speed up your team approval. There are also new channels to find opponents for divisions other than Ranked [R].

• Try to keep off topic stuff to a minimum. So you have a cool resource for Bloodbowl players on your website and want to let people know. Don't type the URL every 5 seconds for an hour until you can see your hit counter going up. It won't work, it will just annoy people. Really. Occasional jokes and stuff are fun, but no one wants a link to "the lowest Viagra prices on the web" to fill their screen when they're trying to get a game in.
• Asking for help. Feel free to ask for assistance in picking a skill or getting a problematic match result taken care of, however don't whine if no one is available immediately. If you ask around and no one is free, just send a PM using the link in the red bar on the website. The first available admin will take care of your problem. Also, some problems can be dealt with by Approval Monkeys (sub-admins, basically) or just helpful folks in chat. Go ahead and ask your question rather than demanding the Commish
