TNT: Outstanding performance vs. Politeia. You must be happy with your performance that night.
Count von Drakenborg: Thank you but actually I was not happy with my performance at all.
TNT: This was a new role we saw you in here. Normally the fans are used to see you as the lead figure of countless of undead teams all over the known world. But today you played a vital part as back up to Griff Oberwald working with your stunning gaze and lending assists where it was needed. Was that a plan you and Mr Oberwald had come up with together.
Count von Drakenborg: Not at all. That little rascal was trying to steal my glory. I was chasing him all over the field to bite his juicy neck. But he is fast, I will give him that. “You can run Griff but you can’t hide!” The Black orcs and blitzes were just in my way of getting a hold of that little bugger. Next time he won’t be so lucky!
TNT: It is not often that we see you play for human teams, why is that?
Well actually I prefer playing for the living. You know there is always fresh blood and rosé cheeked cheerleaders. It is entirely different from setting your fangs in a dusty old mummy. But it is just not often a coach of the living comes to my castle here in Sylvania to negotiate a deal. Necromancers mostly roam these lands.
TNT: Thank you for the interview Count von Drakenborg, it was most enlightening. I better get home before it gets dark.
Count von Drakenborg: The pleasure is all mine. But it is a dangerus land out there. I do insist that you stay the night.
TNT: Thank you but I better not.
Count von Drakenborg: But I insist!!!
TNT: Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Dangerman: I am Frey from Copenhagen. I study to be a teacher and play blood bowl in a local league. As of late I have started to play more and more on Fumbbl and have gotten quite addicted. I play here to practice my positioning of players.
TNT: What do think of the majors in general and especially the fumbbl cup?
Dangerman: I think it’s great to see all the great teams in one big bunch. None the less it has a drawback. The big teams, birthday teams and the lucky ones getting to TR 400 without any injuries. Eater, Brotherhood and so on, they are a bit too powerful for any team to do anything against them. But you couldn’t make a maximum in TR I see that. Just at shame we always see the same teams year after year in the majors. It could be more of a skill game if the teams where more equal. But all in all, it’s just great. So many spectators, so many cheers and boos, so much Blood Bowl coolness! the atmosphere of the games are simply great, they just SMELL of major!
TNT: What about this year’s FC, what do you think of it?
As always it is really nice to see so many spectators in the games. There is so much respect for the FC games being played. People watching even thou they don’t play in the FC or are knocked out of it. Got some friends that watch my games as well just for the fun of it, even thou they don’t really play.
TNT: Got any favorite teams or coaches that you like to spectate?
Dangerman: All the big ones. Emphasy, Alibaba, JackDaniels? and Flix. And mostly every FC game that is up on the game page. If the game is played bad I get to frustrated and have a hard time watching thou. That’s why I like to see the big coaches, just might learn a thing or two. I watch every turn on every side as I am the coach. Asking myself what would I do in there place. Until my head is filled with bb moves.
TNT: Who do you think will win this year’s FC and why?
Dangerman: Hmm… Hard to tell but by the looks of the teams. But with Competitive Eaters out I think I am going with Skeletor’s Politeia. Let’s call Emphasy a dark horse.
TNT: What do you think your own chances are being in the 5th round?
Dangerman: My team got a chance against most teams because of one guy. The one man army El Vigilante Rosa. If he works my team works. But the competition is getting really hard from now on. There is a good chance that my team will breakdown in lack of more good players.
TNT: Does it mean anything special to you to be the first in the 5th round?
Dangerman: Not really, except that I got this interview.
15 more will come to the fifth round soon or later. I just got my matches arranged faster.
TNT: Why did you bring the team that you brought?
Dangerman: it’s my only really high TR team. I think they have the best chance of success. I got a good cd team as well, but I really felt for chaos this time.
TNT: what do you think your own strengths and weakness are as a coach
Dangerman: My strength is surely to play it safe. I never make a GIF if it’s not absolutely necessary. But where you don’t risk you don’t win that much, making my game to safe sometimes. You have to know when to take the risk. All in all Blood Bowl is about player placement, that’s where my biggest headaches come from. Placing one less player to do the job, cowering the right way and so on.
TNT: How do you think that the normal average fumbbler perceives majors especially the FC?
Dangerman: I think they think it’s great. I think most people in here spec games, the average fumbbler specs as well
TNT: Did you watch majors when you where new to Fumbbl?
Dangerman: Not until a few years ago, my first couple of years in here I didn’t play much. It was all Table top Blood Bowl for me. But I have become pretty addicted now.
TNT: Have you noticed that the staff running the majors has changed and has it affected you?
Dangerman: I haven’t noticed. But kudos to all the staff. They are doing a nice job.
TNT: Thank you for taking the time to talk to the TNT.
Dangerman: You are welcome.
TNT: Good evening Mr Ninetails. You are going to watch tonights' monster match from up here instead of from the Line of Scrimmage, how do you feel about that?
Ninetails: Lo. Well, i sprained my ankle while tripping over some dead elfs' body in last weeks' game - i can tell you, it was really annoying having all them elves lying around, bleeding all over the place while we played.
At first i felt should play anyway, because hey, i can still wait for a punch in the face and then get KO'ed for the rest of the game like i always do, but the coach convinced me i was a key part of the team tactic and too important for the teams' future games in the FC to risk me in this one.
TNT: Yeah i can see that. Let's take a look at tonight. Care to hazard a guess at the outcome?
Ninetails: Well the outcome seems pretty clear to me, it might be 2:0 or 3:1 for the Ninjas depending on form and if anything funny should happen there's Soulthief to set things right. The only question is: How many of them orcs will have to die for it?
TNT: You seem pretty sure. What makes you so confident?
Ninetails: Well just now our new reinforced wet cardboard armor sets have arrived, which are known in all the Skaven world to be far superior to the black steel armor orcs are wearing. This alone makes us pretty invincible.
TNT: I ..see.
Ninetails: But on top of that, our orc removal specialists Deathwalker and Wereraven have developed a new technique they call "smuggling a board of wood with a nail in it onto the pitch and hitting prone orcs over the head with it", but i'm not allowed to go into details about this secret strategy.
''TNT: Um.. yes. Thank you for sharing, Mr Ninetails. I can't wait to see all this unfold on the playing field."
Ninetails: You're welcome. See you tonight at 20:00 BB time!
