Right guys and gals its time for the second instalment of 10 questions this time with the coach who has an unhealthy obsession with coaching humans.

1. How long have you been playing BloodBowl and how did you discover Fumbbl?

I discovered Bloodbowl thanks to Fumbbl, back in 2004. As such, I can be considered quite a n00b compared to many people here. Two friends of mine (Garaygos and Ebenezer, both Fumbblers) discovered Fumbbl and sent me the rules in PDF because they wanted drag me in... And it worked Smile I started playing in DivU with a mighty 0/1/19 record using flings, skaven, humans and vampires. I know that *technically* I broke the rules by playing on Fumbbl without owning Bloodbowl material, but after discovering this site I bought some BB stuff, so I guess I'm ok now Smile

2. The Fighting Hellfishes are the longest running human team at the moment, what advice would you give to someone looking to emulate this feat?

The most important thing of all is "Love the team, not the players". Every coach trying to develop a long-term team will have to learn to love the franchise and forget the many downs that Nuffle will eventually bring, including bad luck streaks, 6 spps ageings, multiple apofails on 51+ players and the like. If you love the team, you also learn to live day by day, aiming at victories and not at team development. Every game counts, and in every game you must fight for that single goal: the win.

3. What is your play style? Is anything off limits as far as you are concerned?

My playstyle is n00bish. Smile Seriously: playing humans, I try to adapt to my opponents (which means playing the slow bashy game vs runners, and the *run-circles-around-them* game vs bashers. Most people forget that humans are faster than dark elves, for example and with the appropriate use of RRs can make AG3 *almost* reliable. As for what is off limits... I have been quite famous for being lawful good and never bringing the boots to a bloodbowl game. Around game 400, when Christer stated that DivR had to be competitive (it was the time when then 4 mins rule got introduced) I decided that I was missing a tactical weapon of mass destruction and embraced the fouling. I've become quite proficient at it in the last year, and now the smart use of fouling is an important part of my gameplay. Coaching humans is easier with the numerical advantage.

4. What process if any do you follow while creating teams?

I don't create many teams! To create one, I need a good background idea and some neat player pics. Only if these two features are present I can decide to make a new team.

5. Black/Whitelist, use it or not?

I have my blacklist and I have my whitelist. I just don't use those available on the site because I like to keep my lists personal. I must say that my blacklist is under 5 coaches long, and my whitelist is currently at 104 names Smile I guess I'm the easy to please kind of guy.

6. What are your thoughts on Nuffle?

In the immortal words of coach Greywolf, Nuffle doesn't hate anyone or anything. He just loves to see grown men cry.

7. How have you found the Box ?

I think my personal stance on the Box is quite known: I'd love it to be a place where teams can be paired, and then coaching skills can kick in and give the win to one or the other. As it is now, it's a quickgame feature: it works, it's handy, it's fun. But it's not nearly as cool as it could be.

8. Who do you see as being the guy to beat around here?

That's a tough question. I've played and beaten CR 180 coaches before, but I've also lost many of those games. I think every coach who has *ever* been above 170 in his career is a tough snack to chew. I can think of ten names that spring to my mind for being excellent, but this is in no way an exaustive list: Pigstar-69, Purplegoo, Flix, Purplechest, Trog, PeteW, Rijssiej, Emphasy, Circularlogic and Fanatic

9. Any advice for new starters?

Learn that you will never get any kind of satisfaction from this game. Learn to laugh at your misfortune and take pride in not being too protective of your pixels. No matter how much you love them, they will come and go. Put them at risk with a light heart, and be proud of your testicles Smile Oh, and a real advice: Bloodbowl is a game of skill more than it is a game of dice. If you consistently feel unlucky, chances are you suck. Embrace the truth in these words: it's the only way to understand your weaknesses and get any better.

10. And finally what is your most memorable game?

Most lucky
Most satisfactory
(mainly because it's the perfect example of a coach losing a game to try and develop his team. I have an orgasm everytime it happens against me. Very Happy)

Hope everyone is finding this useful and if anyone has any suggestions for furture sessions let me know Smile

Will.
