That's right folks, you heard it here first! SPACEBALLS the FUMBBL team have drawn for a shot at the Alabaster Lantern of the UI Dark Qualifier.

"Bluegill you're crazy dude, Ogres in a major? It's going to be a slaughter man."

Ah quite possibly the case, hypothetical naysayer. This was quite hilariously another one of my tribute teams to many pieces of media I've come to enjoy. I'm not entirely sure why I felt the escapades of the parody film Spaceballs felt so fitting for an Ogre team.

Back when they started I didn't put much effort into their look. But a message from PainState one day telling me that a team with this much potential not having more flavor struck a chord with me. So away I went, cutting away at whatever images of the film I could find on the net using my trusty GIMP to transform them into the awesome piece of nostalgia you see before you today!

And I know PainState was happy to see them in their rightful glory too :)

In only 2 games they inspired a blog post from a coach who went by the name of AutoAxpert. Detailing how his poor dwarven team was taken apart after losing a Troll Slayer which quickly prompted the team into retirement. Quite the feat for a budding team of drooling boneheads!

Now with 60 games under their belt, they take their shot. A Necromantic team shall be their first test...perhaps it will be short lived. The coach is incredibly skilled and dwarfs this humble coach's match count by a considerable amount.

But this team....oh man this team. No matter what happens this will always be my team. Coaches always give props to the Spaceballs, whether it be for the nostalgia of the film, or just the sheer hilarious outcomes that only Ogres can provide. I simply cannot choose another.
