FUMBBL :: Online Blood Bowl League

So amazingly, the Ventrue Lords made it to the play off stage of the LC.

The question is:

My ma8 vamp has -AV, N. So far, he managed to play all the tournament long. Before using a potion with him, I was waiting to either become Legend or to have another serious injury. He is close to legendhood, though I think he is already a player worth healing for is the only ma8 of the team. So the question is, shall I keep waiting to another serious injury (I can cope with the ones he already has) or is the LC play offs a good reason to potion him now.

If you review the latest games, you will notice he has not been hit a lot for I keep him safe until his action is decissive.

Please, I need some advice.

He is playing in the semi final anyway so I think I would save the potion for an injury that may affect the final (fingers crossed).
In any case, see who you are playing next and decide then...

-AV and niggle on a big player like that sounds like something that could swing the game if he gets KO'd or cassed because of them. Sometimes focusing too much on the next game can lose you the current one ;)

Not at all, use the potion on a mng AND permanently injured top player (2x stat increase at least) for a major, if possible for a major final. Because we do not know how many more potions one can get as FUMBBL birthday gift.

Being able to potion the MNG part of an injury is an interesting argument, yes. I'd agree with that assessment.

I would wait as well... for the reasons others said as well as the fact that I think you have better Vamps on the team that would have a greater impact on the team if they were to get injured / MNG. If you're playing to unforlorn Vamps, then you have to hold off.

Or use the lesser known loophole of waiting till you get a free JM before potioning a mng to get an extra free player for the final
