A Thing What I Wrote
Evening, all.
Last autumn, I was lucky enough to play for team England at the Eurobowl tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark. I got my arm twisted into writing an article on it for the NAF newsletter, and I thought I'd share it with you.
The tale includes several FUMBBL luminaries that also play tabletop, some beer, some more beer and some Sports Cola (because we're athletes). I wrote it in quite a sedate way (no Angry Man here) because of the wider NAF membership audience, but I hope some FUMBBLists who aren't members might also get something out of it. The Eurobowl is one of the jewels in Blood Bowl's crown (along with FUMBBL, obviously), and if this link inspires one more of you to take up the toy soldiers and the mild alcoholism of tabletop Blood Bowl, I've done a good thing.
I was voted team England captain for 2013, and I look forward to leading the troops to Vienna in an attempt to regain our crown. Perhaps I'll meet some more fine FUMBBL coaches in the near future.

Hehe, we did win the pitches, that was our coach Jim being the 'gentleman' in the video. ;)
I got a 3/4/0 in all, which isn't bad at all at the Eurobowl, I was quite pleased to go undefeated, especially in the face of great opposition. Krox, 6 Saurus, Skinks to 12, 3RR. 3 Block Saurus day one, Block Krox and 2 BT Saurus day two.

I don't think any were FUMBBLists. I believe it was 6 guys from a league and two freebooters. Should be more next time; once you've turned up, you're bitten by the bug.
