Welcome everybody! This is the Cabalvision special DLE edition. It is the PERRR-FECKT time to reflect on the season so far, and explain our EXXX-PERT view on the playoff outlook. DLE is in its 12th round of 16 round of 6th regular season, and a lot is already decided, separating the contenders and the pretenders, but the playoff is not sorted yet... Some spots are red hot due to being heavily contested!

KFC division winners

Marienburg Foxes - The Foxes are marginally leading against Flashfurt Universe in the KFCN. We think they will preserve their lead due to better roster, better team effort, and more consistent coaching.

Talabheim Sluggers - KFCE is a funny division. It is developing a reputation to be called KFC Easy. The winner might do it with a losing record. Just to show the win% of this division 46%, 36%, 33% and 3a% respectively. This would be the first time in the Leagues history that winning record is not required for a playoff spot. The other CON-tender is Nuln Gunners. They might make it, but 2 points difference, and badly looking head to head tiebreaker makes it hard for them, thus we dont believe this threat is significant enough.

Wolfsbach Scimitars - The alternating Simitars (also known as butterknives or gladii), who are usually great in even numbered seasons, but bad in odd numbered seasons are likely winning KFCS, having a 3 point lead over 2nd place Remas Eagles.

Middenheim Classics - This franchize was famous for its curse for seasons of s***ing. How about that? No1 seed in KFC after all that bottom feeding. What curse? Classics had nothing until season5, when they made playoffs, and had an early exit. That was called out as fluke. Now they have even improved during season6. They are likely winning KFCW over Broekwater Patriots. 3 point lead, which is 1.5 games.

Summary: No4 playoff seed is solid. The top3 teams are fighting for the bye week. The worst of the best will have to play during the wild card weekend (1st round of playofs), while the 2 best will R-E-L-A-X and drink champagne while watching Aaron Rodgers. We think that the 'cursed' Classics will make the bye due to easier schedule, while the Scimitars and Foxes battle it out. We think that the Scimitars will preserve their lead, so that leaves the Foxes as the worst of the best.

KFC wildcard candidates by expected seedings

There are 3 serious contenders for 2 spots. And we have 2 teams with multiple championship titles among them.
Flashfurt Universe - Won season1 and season3
Broekwater Patriots - 2 times defending champion, winning season4 and season5
And finally we have the Remas Eagles, a team that similarly to the Middenheim Classics did very little. Actually less than the Classics, as last season was kind to the 'cursed', but hopeless for the 'birds of prey'. Coach Arcayn was reinstated to coach them, and maybe that and his aggressive trades improved the team remarkably. Purely looking at the roster, the Eagles are in the top3.

Now lets talk about this race, as it is very interesting. These teams have 16 (Pats), 16 (Universe) and 15 (Eagles) points respectively, and all having 4 more games to go. Round 13 may sort out a lot, as Universe is playing Eagles, and the loser would have an uphill battle.

We predict, that based on the teams, and their schedule, that Broekwater Patriots will make about 6 points, thus maintain 5th seed, then Eagles round out the playoff as 6th seed. Assuming Eagles dont lose to Universe, the Universe's schedule prove to be too difficult for Badpublicity and his players.

no5 - Broekwater Patriots
