This is the FUMBBL version of the Swindon & Wiltshire Blood Bowl League; SAWBBL
Find us on Facebook
. Always looking for more local coaches in our tabletop league; SAWBBL
Divisions will be based on the number of participants each season. In divisions, play-off places will go to the top teams in each division.
Everyone plays everyone once, top team is the champ. Bottom team is the chump. All other coaches are a mixture of chimps, and/or popular retro confectionary classic: Chomps.
At the end of the season, we have playoffs - 4th v 1st, 3rd v 2nd across the divisions, then semi-finals and the GRAND FINAL!
New coaches join with rookie TV1000 teams.
A team can play a maximum of three seasons, all three must be consecutive.
If a team leaves before playing three seasons, that's them out (just to save on tracking who has played what, with what team).
Hopefully, everyone is lovely and lush and plays all their games, accepting that a thrashing is inevitable at some point because... Nuffle.
If someone does
drop, I'll do what I can to get a replacement team in, played by a coach not already in the league. If that is not possible, all opponents over the course of the season are rewarded with wins, regardless of real results. Essentially, drop-outs = bad.
Scoring & Tie Breakers
Scoring points are 3/1/0 (W/D/L), and ties broken by head-to-head result, then net TDs + net CAS, TDs scored, CAS scored, coin toss (in that order).
10-days to play each round (UPDATE: 7 days during season 10 due to lockdown giving most of us more free time), after that the game is likely to be called. Schedule games in advance if you can, even if you haven't yet played the current week's game. Games can be arranged in the main FUMBBL chat group, or in secret romantic side chats, all cosy and nice. Just get them played. Feel free to let other coaches know when you are playing so we can come /boo, /cheer and /crickets.
