Skaag Hills Lynch Mob

Winter 2274. Skaag Hills mines have dried up. Two factions fight a bloody war. Baron Schlitzhof on one side. Schwarze Wilhelm on the other.
Took a while for the two factions to realise a simple truth: It doesnt matter how much blood is shed, silver was gone to never come back.
Early Spring 2275. Jhon McNulty, OBBL Comish & Founder, happens to hit the Skaag Hills on his travel to recruit teams to join OBBL. He sees an opportunity in this depressed area and convince Baron Schlitzhof and Schwarze Wilhelm to become business partners and start a Blood Bowl team, The Skaag Hills Lynch Mob. The rest is history...

Within the Reikland are two prominent hilly regions: Skaag Hills and the Hagercrybs. The former lies several miles south of the city of Carroburg and the latter dominates the region between the Weissbruck Canal and the River Teufel as the hills emerge from the Reikwald Forest. Both the Skaag Hills and the Hagercrybs are riddled with mines but over the years the veins of precious minerals have dried up and now only the mines of Delfgruder, in the Skaag Hills, remain.

Skaag Hills History

A rich vein of silver has been unearthed in the Skaag Hills. The quiet hamlet of Delfgruber now draws a steady stream of prospectors, merchants, mercenaries and all manner of unsavoury visitors. All of them are motivated by one thing - greed. They flock to the boom town like flies to a midden.
But now the silver has stopped flowing and Baron Schlitzhof wants his coffers filled. A brute squad has been rounded up to fetch the Skaag silver and teach the miners a thing or two about respecting the gentry.
Elsewhere it seems trouble is brewing. The renowned witch-smeller, Schwarze Wilhelm, is rousing the local populace in a frenzy of zealotry. Evil lurks in the Skaag Hills - it must be cleansed with fire and steel.

Tournaments Recap

*The Old Ones Championship*

Brilliant tournament and 3rd final position again. Monsters semifinals go to OT in a hard fought game. Hope vanishes when Monsters bring their A+ passing game to the party... sigh.
New recruit Remigio Cortez and William Billups lead the team.

*Altdorf College Series*

Team plays a fantastic tournament and finishes 3rd place. A shame that loss against Paladins which cost us make it to the grand final. Obviously, coaching staff seems to have regained control of the team.
Chapiuto Ramirez and William Billups lead the team.

*Swamp Bowl*

Team hits rock bottom. Poor play. Coaching staff realise that team is a mess, lacking balance and a basic sensible playbook. Ownership throws an ultimatum to coaching staff: Reverse the situation or have a horrible dead...
Archipielago Moon shines again hitting for 4 casualties in 6 games. Makuto Chavez shows some promising upside with his HypnoGaze skills.

*King Settra Invitational*

Poor tournament despite a misleading final 4th position. This tournament is clear evidence that coaching staff got development plan for the team completely wrong. Others teams have found true play makers after scouting for unique skills. Whereas, Lynch Mob build is too traditional and boring.
Pro player Archipielago Moon is the only positive note in a sad tournament for the Mob.

*Brass Citadel PRO Open*

4th position in our trip to the land of Chaos. Coaching staff seems confused on what development path to take for the team. This translate into a team a bit too predictable.
Pro players Chapiuto Ramirez and William Billups shine for the Mob this tourney.

*Blood Keep Invitational*

The team plays a good tournament and finishes in 3rd position overall. Huge win against the team that ended up winning the tournament and dominating the early days of OBBL, Montford Manglers coached by Sinnyil.
Skaag Hill Local player Liam Chiam scores 3 TD and becomes Lynch Mob best player in Blood keep.

*Blood Keep Exhibition Games*

On the 13th March 2274, the team makes his debut during Blood Keep Spring Festivals. OBBL guarantees 15k gold pieces plus a slice of the income from Tickets, Merchandising, Food, Drinks & Rocks during the game against Town Hall Tavern.
Due to our poor performance in that game, we only made an extra 10k gold pieces.
