|As a daemon prince, Lord Tholgarun the Thrice Damned was truly a monster feared even amongst the daemons of the warp. Regularly leading great armies in the Realm of Chaos, he would be always seen in the forefront of the fight to whichever God promised him the greater glory. But like all great Champions, Tholgarun finally met his match. After leading a daemonic army into the deepest reaches of the Realm of Chaos to find a hidden artifact and being out done by a mortal champion of Khorne, Tholgarun was disgraced and was brought in front of the four gods of Chaos.|
Tholgarun faced with oblivion, begged the four gods to forgive his failure. Khorne wished to have his head, Slaanesh wanted to torture him for eternity, and Tzeentch wanted to allow him to live a hundred lives filled with suffering and torment. Nurgle however, being the generous and most kind hearted of the deities suggested they give him another chance. As such, it was decided that Tholgarun would lead a team into the dreaded Open Leagues of Blood Bowl. He would play thirty matches in all, Six for Slaanesh, Seven for Nurgle, eight for Khorne and nine for the great sorcerer Tzeentch.
It was then dictated Tholgarun would be stripped of his powers and be brought into the Old World another way. The great Doom Bull Garrosh Blackmane, terror of Middenhiem, was gifted a chest plate of Chaos Armour but unknown to him it held the raging spirit of Tholgarun. Now Tholgarun fights the Minotaur for control, and although his daemonic essence enhances the beasts strength many fold, the will of Garrosh is not so easily placated.
Now Tholgarun leads the Warp Storm Ravagers on the fields of Blood Bowl and he intends to take the World of Blood Bowl and the Open leagues by storm. Alongside him are other fellow damned daemons or followers who are also seeking either forgiveness of their Gods or to seek glory.
However, if Tholgarun is to fall however before the deemed thirty matches,he and the entire team shall be engulfed by the overwhelming power of the Dark Gods. Tholgarun himself will have his daemonic essence absorbed amongst the Chaos gods, ceasing to exist and the team alongside him shall be banished into the eternal darkness of the Realms of Chaos.
Tholgarun had triumphed! After the thirty matches, of blood, sweat, and more blood, the daemon prince had managed to survive while inside his host's body. He was once more brought before the Chaos Gods and yet to his dismay, he was met only with vile and cruel laughter. The Gods mocked Tholgarun in his attempt to renew his body, despite the pact he had made with them. They laughed too at his feeble attempts to lead his team, which had been left as all but a shadow of its former self. Even the mighty Warlord of Blood had not come out unscathed, having received a mortal wound which would have killed a mortal three times over. The Minotaur as well, Garrosh Blackmane, which Tholgarun had possessed was still fighting for its now bloody and broken body. Only Tholgarun's spirit was keeping it intact to a body which should have declined long ago, its bones broken and its flesh rended, and some old wounds which not even the daemon's powers could heal.
In spite of his success, Tholgarun's true fate is unknown. Some say that the Gods turned back on their word and rent asunder both his physical and daemonic form while others have stated that Tholgarun now reigns supreme once more over his realm in the horrifying daemonic lands. On the other hand Cablevision channel has shown a recent entry into a Dungeonbowl tournament, which once more proves that local news channels are more reliable than word of mouth, especially those of daemonic forces! Mind his reasons for not returning to the warp is anyone's guess, and only he and the Gods know the potential motive behind this. The fans on the other hand are dying to see him in action!
