Your all in starting roster. You start with 4 Necrarch Vampires who are weaker than normal vampires, though they have managed to control their Blood Lust completely. Having 4 Hypnotic Gaze in the team means the opposing ball carrier is never truly safe, and with 2 Wights for Blocking and Blitzing your team is always a threat. You also start with a reserve which means if the opportunity arises a few well placed fouls might be in order. The downside of this starting roster is you only have 2 Re-rolls to start with. While your team does have 2 Block and 4 Ag2+ you do lack some core skills so managing with 2 Re-rolls can be tricky at times. So use them wisely.

The conservative build. Similar to the previous variation, dropping 1 Necrarch Vampire for a Re-roll and a Skeleton. The extra Re-roll is very useful for reliability, and you still have 1 reserve. All you need to do is save up for your remaining Necrarch Vampire and more reserves.
