Back to Secret League Elf Teams
quote
A solid starting roster. You have all your positionals other than 1 extra Thrower. Your 4 Blockers all have Block, and will do most of the teams heavy lifting. Having a Thrower and 2 Catchers is actually very important in this roster, because they are pretty slow. So need ways to move the ball around. Also getting Leader on a Thrower quickly can be useful. 2 Re-rolls can be tricky to manage with at low TV, but with 4 Block and a few other tricks in the bag you can certainly get by with good Re-roll management.
This is a somewhat conservative build as you now start with 3 Re-rolls, however this does come at the expense of 1 Block which weaknesses your offence and defence. Also you can only afford either a Thrower or Catcher. Starting with a Catcher means they will act as your primary runner. However they aren't that quick, and it does leave you a little lacking in options. Starting with a Thrower gives you a bit more of an offensive threat as you can pass to ball to any player and catch on a 2+, however it does make you a little weaker on defence as your team is slower without a Catcher as a back field blitzer of sorts.
