Lahmian Starting Roster & Tactics

Quote

Variation 1

  • 2x Lahmian Vampires
  • 2x Blitzers
  • 7x Linemen
  • 3x Re-rolls
  • 3 to 5 Dedicated Fans
  • Total 980k to 1000k

The conservative build. 3 Re-rolls should be enough to get by. You start with 2 Block and 2 Ag2+ Dodge, so your team is mobile and reasonably reliable at Blocking. Starting with 2 Lahmian Vampires is enough to start off with. It makes managing Blood Lust not too difficult.

Variation 2

  • 3x Lahmian Vampires
  • 1x Blitzer
  • 7x Linemen
  • 3x Re-roll
  • 3x Dedicated Fans
  • Total 1000k

Similar to Variation 1, but you drop 1 Blitzer in place of an extra Lahmian Vampire. This gives you better mobility and more Hypnotic Gaze. When receiving Kick-Off it means you have 1 receiver and 2 runners, which will make it very hard to stop you scoring. The only downside to this starting roster variation is you only have 1 Block now, and you will need to manage an extra Blood Lust. But it is still a very strong starting roster.

Variation 3

  • 3x Lahmian Vampires
  • 2x Blitzer
  • 6x Linemen
  • 2x Re-roll
  • 1x Apothecary
  • Total 1000k

A risky starting roster. With only 2 Re-rolls managing your Blood Lust and general play will be tricky to manage, but it is doable with careful planning, and knowing when to let turnovers occur to conserve your Re-rolls. The advantage of this starting roster is you start with both Blitzers so have 2 Block players. You also start with 3 Vampires which gives you 3 Dodge and 3 Hypnotic Gaze which make cage busting fairly straight forward. Finally you start with an Apothecary for player protection.
