As for the chess clock: how are you going to monitor the time taken per turn with a chess clock? I can see how a stop-watch might work, but would you reset the chess clock at 4 minutes for every turn? |
have you used a chess clock recently? They're all digital nowadays, and they have features like resetting the 4 minutes automatically. it works like a charm for blood bowl. |

My teams have a 'slow thinker' notice. Furthermore I warn opponents that an 'everlasting match' may occur. Some of them thank for the warning and give up starting a game. Others never say that they are offended (thanks BTW). |

I suppose it is OK if the other coach agrees with it, but why not ask him to start the game with only 10 players too? |
Everything is fair if both sides agree. |

You're right cheating is never fair.
But what's wrong with agreeing not to foul?

Does she complain or is she happy that she can play with his bother's toys? |

Site rules explicitly disallow such agreements like "not fouling", they are not vinculant... interesting for the "How to be a rigth bastard" thread may be... |

the fumbbl community has generally agreed that agree before hand on 'no fouling' goes from friendly agreements over the boundary into fixed matches. and those are not allowed for obvious reasons. |

Agreeing not to foul is cheating, MOT.

Better play with your big brothers toys than with some strange boys.
Who's your sister, by the way? |

[[Do not discuss or agree on in-game strategy before the game is started. This includes agreeing on not fouling or any other type of in-game events.]]
I would have thought that agreeing 5 minutes turns is worse than agreeing not to foul. I am assuming that having the extra time improves the slow player's decisions and so increases his chances of winning the game.
You have quite a good win percentage. Would it be such a big problem to keep to 4 minutes?
Still, just because something is against the rules does not necessarily mean that it is unfair. |
