My pro elf blitzer just rolled 5+5 for his first skill.
My team:

So many choices what should i pick?
I don't think the movement is worth it.
Frenzy and sidestep would be a good combo.
Guard is always good, but i want a killer blitzer.
Maybe mighty blow?
Right now i am thinking jump up would be the best. |

Even though I am a big fan of MA 8, I think that Guard would be the solid choice here. Next skill should definitely be Dodge. Although if you insist him to be a "Blitzer" kind of type of a player, Dauntless would be my choice. |

If you mean one that causes some casualties, you've just eliminated most of the options then haven't you ?
It's got to be mighty blow or piling on.
Personally I'd take the movement. |

Not on a double. The most annoying things that go together with blodge sidestep are guard and jumpup. Blitz away a corner of a cage and put this guy in. Even if he goes down, your opponent has to move his ballcarrier (which might prove difficult when he needs the blitz to down the blitzer. |

I didn't mean that i want him to kill lots of opponents, i meant i want him to be a versatile blitzer.
The movement seems a waste as pro elves can have 4 catchers with mv 8. |

Save MA8 for your Catchers. I would advise either Dauntless (you need something to take on Big Guys) or Guard (Cage Buster)
Jump Up, maybe get that if you get another double. |

I have a Blitzer in a campaign im running atg the moment, and i would definately have to say the MV increase.
Its High Elf though, so disregard if you want but i found later in the campaign that its come ion useful as the Blitzer and catcher have exactly the same skills & values except armour (MV 8, AG 4, ST 3, Catch, block, dodge and tackle) This will probably be your only chance to take a MV increase so go for it! |

Depends on your opposition. If you are playing other elf-like teams, guard gives you the biggest advantage over them. |

never estimate the value of MB:) If not MB, then guard as he comes with sidestep allready - and a sidestepping, blodging guarder is a damn nasty thing
Jump up isn't too good imo as he'd be prone to fouls (allthough those nasty PElf catchers are damn good targets as well). |
