Above said team record 12-8-12 - so what's your point?
Anyone can have a high rating with enough games. |

If you look at that teams matches, the team hasn't won any elves even once, it has tied with a couple, but most games against elves have gone badly. Could be that a lot of elf teams don't want to play a team full of PO+MB, but using that much PO leaves a lot of room on the field... |

Use Saurus to reduce numbers.
Be careful about mobbing ball carriers with skinks - It can be done easily but then you'll get blocked by S3 bugger next turn - So choose your battles carefully.
Get a skink 4 squares into their half with a Saurus to shield him. Have another one mid-way in your field to take the ball over to him.
Set this up even when you're not receiving because if they drop the ball your skinks will have it soon most likely. |

As a starting team? Skip the Krox, your sauri are more reliable and strong enough for a start.
So either 4 Sauri, 7 Skinks 3 RR or 6 Sauri, 5 Skinks, 2 RR. If the first get Sauri quick, for the second get another RR before you buy a Krox.

This is my current faction team, and the only complaint I have with how they've progressed is that I'm finding it hard to get games since their strength is so high: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=34387
Now I have had some bone head mistakes, and a few losses that I'll definitely chalk up to pilot error since this happened to be my first time playing Lizards. However I cannot stress how important those Block, Guard Saurus have been to holding the line. I can play other Lizard teams and they're trying to figure out how to get Two Dice hits on the line. The only thing missing is Break Tackle, Tackle. Which will be the next two skills for the main four unless I get doubles.
That is definitely the single greatest weakness this team has, anyone can tie up your team with generic lineman, of whatever race. Granted they might take a pounding for it, but they win the game (which in Faction play is important). Might Blow or Piling On might not be a bad idea for two of them, but I really think you want to build 4 of them as people able to hold the line. |

You can make it the other way around i.e. tie up your opponents players with your saurus. If you place them wisely and the opponent isn't an elf or amazon you should be able to hold up six opponents with only four saurus. this is especially true against chaos dwarfs that only has one movement after being knocked over. |

Once those Saurus have Block and Guard, Multiple Block (without testing) would seem like a good choice for one or two of the Saurus. Would allow you to take out two TZ's to free up a saurus or two to go run around and do some damage. Just an idea though |

break tackle makes your saurus ag 4 for dodgng free to blitz having one or 2 blokc breack tackle strip ball or tackle saurus to go after the ball carrier isnt a bad decision sounds handier then trying multiblocking to free one up for a blitz... |

I rebut you with http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=2814 , the top lizard team until the ratings got reset back in the Spring. Note how there's only one guy that does the body slam, and how developed the skinks are when compared to the team you linked.
Just to point out that there's more than one way to play the team, really... |
