just because he blocks the mummy with 2 assists doesnt mean that the he uses more than one action for that |

In my experience Kehmri have lot of problem with dwarves, but then again what dice rolls is going to make the match.
Enjoy a good time. |

I always place 3 skeletons in the LOS. You want to stop them from getting through your second line of defense, and a wall of mummies (like Teg suggested) is pretty helpful for that. |

Anyway, you put more than 2 players at each side. So, this set up is not allowed at all |
I'll have to disagree with you there, Mark - he has exactly 2 players on each side |
I agree with you RedFish - he has exactly 2 players on each side and I was wrong

@nurgling : you need 3 assists to block an St5, meaning he needs at least on guy to move and one to block (2) and if missed a 3rd.
Well I usually play Ogres at tr110 so I have 6 of them, I can afford to lose one for strategical purpose. I dont know if it is acceptable for Khems.
Still, good luck with this game, dwarves are hard to take at low tr |

3 assists ... or you can use a slayer with dauntless (with 2 assists so that if you fail the dauntless roll, you still get a 1d block). Dwarves really get the advantages here - they're just as fast, have an advantage on agility, and almost of their players are tough (unlike the AV7 which can be temporarily removed from the pitch pretty easily).
If there's likely to be any fouling going on, you can bet that fouls will be on the mummies - if you take a couple of mummies off the pitch, khemri don't really have a lot of hitting power left. |

some help from me ; at least i hope so
dont believe a dwarf cant block underdice he has block other none
means chance for a pussback is better than dodge with a ag 3 player
and if mummies are pushed back
the los falls faster than ........ no good compare avaible
3 skells or better 1 skell 2 blitzra would be my thought
btw more skells help wonder vs dwarfs
foul the dwarfs ... i mean foul them alot ^^ |

Just thinking -- against that setup, i'd probably attempt to go for a little bit of risk on the first turn to try to surf one of those mummies on the edge...
Code: | ,,,,.......,,,, ,,,,.......,,,, ,,,,.......,,,
,,,,b.b..l.,l,, t ,,,,b.b..l.,l,, t ,,,,b.b..l.,l,

you can assuming the troll-slayer manages to do his job, you can also put in the 2d blocks on all three skeletons on that side of the field, leaving just one 2d against block on the mummy near the centre - half the team on the ground, one mummy off the pitch for the rest of the half, and not too much for the khemri to hit back.
personally, I always go with the "put the 3 most expendable players on the LoS approach (skill-less skeletons) - they aren't much good for anything else (except the "occasional foul" ).
Against dwarves, you can afford to leave a bit of a gap on the sidelines as they don't really want to score that quickly, so i'd be inclined to go with something like:
Code: |
,,,,.S.S.S.,,,,
,,,,.......,,,,
,,,M..M.M..M,,,
,,,S...B...S,,,
,,,,...B...,,,,

I planned also this defensive setup, please leave your comments...
XXXX|MXMXMXM|XXXX
XXSS|XXXXXXX|SSXX
XXXX|BXXTXXB|XXXX
Where M=mummy, S=skelly, B=blitzra, T=throra and X=empty square
Remember, rookie dwarf team with no guard player and only one TS with dauntless. |
