Not to be too much of a geek, but Donatello's "stick" is a bo staff, Raphael's "forks" are sai, and Lenoardo had katana not just "swords".
OK.... Finished being a geek now. |

Same thing with NoS, NOS?? on str 4? what the hell for?
AG6 doubles = guard. str 4 doubles = guard (mb on a 2nd double). Elves need guard, str 4 guards are hard to push away, ag6 guards can get anywhere.
Brit - still looking for some common sense in this thread.. |
mmmmm. beeing blitzed is possible no, against some strong teams. Well, sure hands must be taken.
I can't say Brith' is wrong in telling me I am wrong. However, I still think it might be a very good try and I ll try myself on my str 4 passer. |

Safe Throw, and then Dodge, Block for the ag6 one.
Block, Sure Hands, Dodge for the St4 one. (in that order) |

Um, whoever said accurate is not useful for this guy, get off the pipe! Passing goes like this, Roll, Modify -1 for long pass, -2 for long bomb, +1 for accurate. So now long pass is made on 2+ instead of fumbled as in roll = 2 -1 for long pass = 1 ball is fumbled and long bomb is made on 3+. Because he is ag6 all throws will already be accurate if they are not fumbbled. This is also true for ag5 players for those of you who hadnt noticed. ag6 only added advantages can dodge into two tackles zones on 2+ and can pick up ball in two tackle zones on 2+.
PS: Ball being fumbled on modified roll that equals 1 is true but is total garbage. Only natural ones should be a fumble. The way it is currently just jacks up the passing game. Only my opinion but then again i thing using agility to rate passing is garbage anyway. There should be a fifth stat called dexterity for passing and catching. |

Just to be irritating, Leonardo didn't have blue "swords"... he had blue "trim" (ie headband and arm ties) and and normal metal looking blades, as per googled picture: http://www.fantasykat.com/shows/tmnt.html
Anyway, nothing wrong with people having opinions and then voicing them... it just irritates me when the person adopts the view that if you don't agree with them then you are not only wrong, but somehow of lesser intelligence. |

Actually it's not garbage: When I had my boardgame league, we misunderstood the passing rules and in fact only applied fumbles to natural 1s. You'd end up having everyone (skeletons, orcs, you name it) make long bomb passes out of spite and to keep the opponent from reaching the ball. It was completely ridiculous and changed the gameplay quite a bit.
As for another trait: Well, to make things more realistic, of course a couple more stats and perhaps something else than a d6 could be introduced, but that'd completely butcher one of Bloodbowl's main attractions: Being a very simple (rulewise), yet very complex (tactical and strategical options wise) game. Therefore a 5th stat isn't needed and would be in fact counterproductive, imho, ymmv. |
