When a dauntless player makes a block, and dauntless fails, is it better to reroll dauntless, or save the reroll for the block? |

Hmm. I'd say it depends on the circumstances - ST of player getting blocked, importance of the block, will it be 1d or -2d block, stuff like that. |

I generally do NOT reroll dauntless, unless it is a block on the ball carrier. |

It depends on exactly what kind of block it will be if you fail Dauntless (two dice against, or one dice), and of course on what skills the players have.
My rule of thumb is that if you want to maximise the chance of knocking down the opponent, you should re-roll Dauntless; and if you want to minimise the risk of a turnover, you should save the re-roll for the block dice. YMMV. |

Hmmm, if youve got block, perhaps dont reroll the dauntless, but if your 2 dice against vs someone with block, your just begging for a turnover. |

If only thinking about avoiding a turnover, blocking on st3 player, rerolling dauntless would be more wise, if you get +2d if it works (and -2d if not).
chance of succeeding avoiding a turnover:
5/6 * 35/36 + 1/6 * 25/36 = 200/216 = 92,6% |

If you have block and are hitting a blockless big guy,
save the reroll for the actual 2 dice against. |
