Because nobody would care, exactly like it is in the World Cup.

Semifinal Match
All four teams have suffered some dents and bruises going into the semis.
That is a good thing since the FUMBBL Cup reward potion needs some injuries to heal!
Monday November 27

Time 1800 BBtime Monday 27th November 2006. |
Superheroes have an MNG Wardancer which is not good to say the least.
They have hired AG5 Jordell to fill in.
Both teams now have 14 active players with Nandorins suffering two MNGs.
This leaves the High Elves without a Kicker,
which is acceptable since there aren't any OTS players on the Wood Elf side.
Both teams have Wizard cash, but spending for a Wizard here is questionable
since most players here have AG 4 or 5 except for the Treeman.
The numbers are close, but Plorg will call this for the Wood Elves.
They will be receiving multiple handicaps and they are historically
more likely to take advantage of fouling opportunities.
Plorg's Pick: Ultimate Superheroes by 1 in OT

Semifinal Match
The winner of this match faces the surprisingly undamaged Ultimate Superheroes in the Final.
PeteW is likely waiting to see whether the Khemri win (PeteW buys a Star and Wizard)
or the Lizards (PeteW buys two Stars).
Either way, Superheroes are looking strong.
Sunday December 2
We can safely assume Ramtut will be purchased, bringing the Khemri to 14 players.
Not a great number for a bash/foul team in a Tournament match.
The Lizards have the option of a Wizard against an AG2 team
or the Block/Guard/SF Saurus Star.
Either is a decent option since the Lizards have 14 players now
with 2 nigglers and are giving multiple handicaps.
Running out of players against Khemri in OT is a plausible outcome.
It is difficult to say who has the ST advantage,
since Lizards have +ST and -ST across the board.
While Khemri have the overall ST/Guard advantage,
the vast Lizard MA advantage could easily focus appropriate ST wherever they need.
This is even more prominent due to the Lizards' plentiful BT/Dodge.
The most telling statistic is that this Khemri team has never won in 3 games against Lizard teams.
Plorg sees the Khemri having big problems covering the field sufficiently.
If they can grind Lizard players off the field very early in the first half,
then they might take it to OT and win. This does not seem likely.
It is more likely that a heavily damaged Lizard team will move on to lose the Final to Superheroes.
Plorg's Semi Pick: My First and My Last by 1, no OT
Plorg's Final Pick: Ultimate Superheroes by 1, no OT

Turniermumien have a 0/1/2 record against Lizardmen.
What you didnt know: They got their two losses in their 3rd and 4th match (= TR 125)
One mummy had Block and Guard, all other Mummies had no skills.
Skills in total: No Tackle, 2x Guard and 3x Block, no DP. And I lost to MA 8 Dodge Stunty ... so a loss was a very likely result of this match. |

Well, it would be likely this next game also.
I think the game outcome will have alot to do with niggles and the 1-3 handicaps. |
