Protagonist's Bowl promotional

Korhedron's Fanatics vs Red Diamonds

This match could have been interesting, but an intimidated ref from the start of the match and some well placed blows soon left the pitch open for the Red Diamonds. Before the ball was safely in the cage the elves managed to pry it loose two times (one time due to the new Black Diamond II knocking himself down in a frenzy) and only the scatter made it certain they couldn't get the ball. Xukar set in the first TD well protected in the last minutes of the first half. 3 elves was injured, two by the nasty hobgoblin Xorok and one by the debuting Black Diamond II and some left still to fully recover their senses.
The Diamonds were ready from the start of second half, sending team captain H'torg blitzing the lone elven player in the deep field, stunning him. That made the path clear for him to score the 2nd TD of the match, but not before Erik II caused his 10th casualty in his career.
Next drive saw the Diamonds making a perfect defence and an amazing kick by Xorok - who actually should have recieved the MVP for his fouls and kicks - causing the elves to try a desperate pass across the field right next to the line of scrimmage. The pass was inaccurate and the ball landed behind the living wall of dwarves. The ball was soon secured by Xorok, who was promptly attacked by the desperate witch elf Marriana who only managed to knock herself down. The caged Xorok advanced and right before the end zone he handed it off to the dwarf Hans, who scored his 3rd TD.
The last drive saw some fantastic plays on both sides and only a hard set Nuffle prevented the elves from scoring after some great dodging and pick up by the elven blitzer Manek. The ball ended almost in the hands of the witch url=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=3061721]Marriana[/url] in the end zone.The hobgoblins soon showed their agile playing style and soon after the ball was in the elven half. The elven lineman Dranack play a ncie defence blitzing down Xalin carrying the ball. But Black Diamond II had a short moment of glory - obviously trying to redeem himself, from almost causing a ball loss in first half - and blitzed down Yeurl, who had just failed to pick up the ball. This left just enough space for Xalin to get up again and daringly pick up the ball right under the nose of Dranack, dodging away to pass it to Xejik II, who had been lurking in range if the end zone. He easily ran in the ball for his first TD ever in this is 2nd match. In my opinion this TD should recieve the Silver Ball Trophy.

A score of 4 - 0 for the chaos dwarves against a frustrated team of dark elves who had been deserted by Nuffle from the beginning.

Thanks to Erod for keeping his spirit during the match of trials for the poor dark elves. Hope to play you again soon!

Unfortunately Grudge Bits & Pieces did not get any comments from the Dark Elf team. The reporter's throat (along with a few fans who were a bit too eager) was cut before he even had a chance to say anything by a frenzied Marrlana.

This has been accounted for in the Season One results page. Red Diamonds 175p->195p and Korhedron's Fanatics 126p->127p. This did not change the order of the teams at the end of season one.
