Popcorns's Earthminers (Dwarf 258/250) beat Reventlov's High Elf Ulthan Nobles by 2-1.
BooAhl's Helena High (Skaven 281/239) beat Dalibor's Dark Elf Them Obvious Megastars by 4-2.
BooAhl has plenty of experience winning games with shorthanded Skaven.
However that will be difficult against some Dwarves designed to tear up Dodgy AV7.
Skaven has Headsplitter and Dwarves have Grim. This drains their treasuries for Round 3,
but they both realize they need to make it to Round 3 period.
If this game goes to OT, the Dwarves should win by on-pitch attrition.
Plorg's Pick (Rd2): 3-2 OT Earthminers
-----
Tekoda's Ravens All-Stars (High Elf 248/227) beat Topper28's Body like a Battleaxe by 2-0.
malitrius's Nobel Laureates (Dark Elf 278/256) beat Borgen's Dark Elf Blood Red Dragons by 3-1.
Both of these wins are considered upsets.
Nobel Laureates are now the TS frontrunners of the tournament.
With the High Elves low on players and cash, Laureates should sweep them aside.
The High Elf Dirty Players could make the AV7 pay for it.
Plorg's Pick (Rd2): 3-1 Nobel Laureates, taking 2 MNG
-----
If Tekoda causes sufficient damage in Round 2 then Earthminers faces weakened Laureates in Round 3.
There would be many who would enjoy a FUMBBL Major without any Elf-things in the final,
and Dwarf vs Orc would be a nice slaughterfest to watch.
Plorg's Pick (Rd3): 2-1 OT Earthminers

Nobel Laureates is in the semi-final after a quite comfortable 2-1 victory. Taking one MNG (two, one apo'ed (-av)... and that was the dirty, phew).
Good luck to Booahl! Lets hope for a Swedish semi-final and at least one Swede in the final! |

The freak dump off thrower Schrödinger (142sps -ag,-st) facing retirement? Is the Pince going to be hired as replacement. Do elves need dauntless against two rat ogres? A wizard is already hired. How likely is it that an iron man one-turner will bring skavens to the GLT final? Not so unlikely. Handicapps will be important even though I think I have the edge to win our semi-final. The stage is not set yet, but the game is planned on sunday 16BBT. We might play earlier though. |

With lucky handicaps and som easy CAS (made 0 against dwarfs) I will stand a shot. Also I need all of my Nigglers to play. |
