I managed to pull off a win with my semi-rookie Nova Lords. But now I am facing off against an Orc team with a 100+ TR advantage. Gulp. Oh well, at least plenty of handicap rolls. |

Keep this way, Jan, it's so much cool. Next game will be tough but you know we'll be there to boo at your opponent... |

Grats on the win, Jan.
My Nova Lords lost 2-1 (both opponent TDs scored by the nick of hair in turn 8 of each drive - so was a slightly bitter loss ) in the 2nd round. Got soooo close to beating that 100 TR+ advantaged Orc team. Oh well. Good to see there are still human teams alive and kicking their way through the FC. |

That matchup looks mighty hard. I don't think Zug will help much honestly.
Go for a Wizard (lightningbolt if the elf cages near a corner as they often do), and hope for your MB-tackler to go berserk. Protect him at all costs. If he's KOed, you won't stand a chance.
Very hard match...
I'd hire wiz and dump 10k cash... so that the TR difference will be 51 instead of 50 (granting you three handicaps instead of two). 10k for a handicap are worth it I think. |

Yes, definitely dump the 10k for the handicap. |

Surely his oppo could just then dump an assistant coach... don't see the point... |

The point is that if his opponent doesn't notice he gets a third handicap. Worth a try, I say. |

Dump the cash just before the game....
Its very, very easy to plan that kind of move but most people won't notice a TR change of 1 at the last minute.
Zug is great... but not at hitting elves (unless they have a tree I guess, then he's great) |
