In our Physical League we use the "I've got my eye on you" fouling rule. when you foul the ref has his eye on you. in game the way it works is at the Beginning of each half you need to get doubles to be kicked out for fouling. when you foul you get the eye token, we use the ref minis, if you foul again before your opponent you need to get doubles to not be kicked out. if or when the opponent fouls the eye goes to them. it seems like a better system than not awarding SSP for fouling. Bribes are not changed by this rule. |

Why would you want spps for fouls?
You just ruin a perfectly good Dirty player by making him cost more. |

On second thought it is not. This is a table top discussion, I quess, SO they do not have to worry about the much maligned, loved, loathed or embraced TS calculator. Sure getting spp starts to inflate your TR over time but its not that big of a deal. |

This would work very well with LRB4 style fouling (+2 to armour/injury with DP) . |

They propably play by lrb5(+) so team value increases on every skill and dirty player doesn't exactly need anything but DP and Sneaky Git on some teams. As inducements exist you pay for all team value you have on every game as Inducements exist.
But true it's still not that big a deal in tabletop league. |

I smell a RAT!!! I think that the Thread was designed as a ruse to get all the Forum Trolls trapped on this thread and then emolate it with flame and hopefully destroy all the forum trolls in one massive attack. I RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!! |

I've got my eye on you is part of LRB4, which Fumbbl uses. So what's the point of describing a rule that we all use here too?
IGMEOY was however changed (i think it was in LRB1) to make it 4+ instead of 2+ (rather than being ejected on doubles or no doubles). Partly because the other way was considered too harsh, and partly because linking it to the armor roll skewed the odds when you had multipliers on the armor roll.
So what you're describing is the original IGMEOY rule designed for the old 4th ed, that was ported over and improved for LRB.
Way to be years behind! |
