Celebrating Khemri achivement is 1 thing, cooking the books to make it look good is another thing altogether..... |
But the great news is, if he loses a few more games, then rules draught 3.0 will allow in even more Khemri teams
Also, after 16 games your Khemri were at 66% and I can't see you have dropped below the 55% since, so you should be allowed in too |

Thanks duke, in no good with stats, but that makes me feel good about my Khemri. Contrary to popular belief. I always play to win 1st.
Makes me think of the Simpsons episode featuring the Stonecutters, that became the 'No Homers' club.....

nah I will take my team out, not a problem, I just didn't want only 4 teams in the group with there being 175 Khemri teams in the blackbox. But to be unbiased, I've kicked out my team for good and they will never be allowed in. |

Agreed. I thought this group was about good khemri teams...55% wins?? Bah. The bar should be 75% wins to get in...with dips down to 70% allowed perhaps...but 55%...that is weak. |

draw = 0.5 of a win.
Percentage of wins over total games played.
is that right? |
Fumbbl counts draws as a win and a loss i believe.
So if your team is 0/1/0 - it is 50% win.
If your team is 2/0/1 - it is 67% win.
If your team is 2/1/0 or 3/0/1 - it is 75% win.
Easiest way to calculate in your head is to take:
(wins+draws)/(wins+losses+2*draws) |
I think you mean 2/2/0 is 75%, as 2/1/0 is 83% |
Dang, you are right.
So 2/1/0 is same as 2.5/0/.5
Or 2/2/0 is same as 3/0/1
and so forth.
So each draw counts as .5 wins and .5 losses.
So calculation is (wins +.5*draws)/(wins+losses+draws)...or more simply: (wins+.5draws)/total games played.
Thanks for pointing out my error. |

Here's hoping we meet soon.... I'm on 57.1%. I could do with increasing my percentage by kicking an elitist coaches teeth in.... |

The thing is, how many of those 175 Khemri teams actually play to win? You should count out the one that dont. About 80 or so Khemri teams have played more than 10 games. And if you take away the teams that dont even play to win. I'd say there would be about max 50-60 left...
<trolling>Let's face it, there are a lot of people playing khemri, since they just cant make other races survive in B, well maybe they could manage with dwarves </trolling>
And with all those Khem teams with less than 50% winning record:
"<peikko> hey, even my khem are 3/2/3 and we all know..." |

I have applied with my khemri team. I think it's up to 60 % now.
Sorry for dragging down the glamour of your group even more |

So 1 in 8 teams still gets in. Why dont you make it more competitive. Say the top 5 khemri teams win % wise would get in, once you drop down you're kicked out? |

I retired the Khemri team I had in this group post-DP changes. I do agree with the changes, though - they just invalidated my concept for the team. Which is a good thing - DP is clearly an overpowered skill. |
