In the navigation there are links like "Rules", "Help/FAQ" and "Gamefinder". If you klick on the coach name in the game finder you get the overview for this coach with a "Send PM" link. But IRC chat is the preferred and faster method for finding opponents.
Just guess where the "Help/FAQ" link points to! And if you carefully read through the whole user guide (especially "Communication") there should not be many questions left.
The reason why some people may be a bit rude with newbie questions is because some don't even bother to read any documentation or search the forum but start a thread reading "Here I am so help me!". And you seemed to be one of those or are you? |

If you want to do it smoothly, check out the Gamefinder page. Select a team/coach you want to play against, then go find him/her on the chat. For the first time, I tried the PM (personal message) communication, but that's just too slow...I'm not sure if it's even meant to be used like that. To find people to play, I mean. But like LordBhorak said, it's very useful to go and read the Help-page first...just so you won't be making any 'illegal procedures'
And there are NO stupid questions, only stupid answers! But that's just my opinion |

No need to. There is a "browser" chat in the chat page. For example I do not have an IRC software on this computer, yet I'm able to chat in the #FUMBBL... |

IMHO "RTFM" is no stupid answer - at least if a link to the manual is included |
