In the matches screen on your profile it has a rating of how difficult the game was, simlilar to the rating for race vs race in the stats page. I think this is how it works anyway. So a perfect match up of combined race/TS/CR would give a 50 rating, higher is easier, and lower is harder.
For example Zons vs dwarves at TS 90-110 is at a difficulty rating of 43.48 for the zons.
I might have mistaken what this rating is on the matches page though, but i can't see what else it could relate to |

Roll doubles, choose nerves of steel. And that's only the minimum requirement. |

Hi!
I have a genuine question:
How comes that every game Trog plays has a difficulty of 0? |

@funnyfingers: my mistake, thought it was ts 15 difference before handicaps. but what do you think about a tr/ts difference 15 before handicaps or a total random algorithm??? i think that would be fairer than ts 15 difference after handicaps. so i just had luck in the month before not getting such ts high levler. |

The current formula gives a slightly lower match rating per handicap. I think it is needed to ensure that as many matchups as possible can be made. There also is a random multiplier done to each matchup to give a bit of randomness to the matchups. It is a very small multiplier.
If the BlackBox went the route of matching on pure TS and took out handicaps, then you basically are changing the rules of LRB4.
If you limit it to 15 TS before handicaps then a TEAM A 100 TR/115 TS and TEAM B with 111 TR/100 TS play and TEAM A gets a handicap and is effectively 20 TS higher than TEAM B. |

To clarify I mean that handicaps are needed to ensure as many matchups as possible. |
