I just played as Fairies for the first time and couldn't work out how to use hypnotic gaze. Whenever I click on the skill it says it can only be used at the end of a move - but after I end my move I can no longer select the player.
I know I'm probably missing an obvious solution - but please let me in on it...
Thanks |

I'm not sure exactly what you mean - but to use it select a player, choose the 'move' action then when you arrive where you want to be click on the skill to use it (Do not end the players go!)
I seem to remember you have to GFI to use it if you've used all of your guys movement as the client is mean... |

if you have used up all your movement, then you have to select the GFI button. You wont actually have to make a roll for doing it, but it frees up the option of using Hypnotic..
its a bug in the client |

I wanted to use it without moving - I selected the move button, then HG, and it wouldn't allow me to use it. |

hrm, that works fine for me, though I'm using vamps not Fairies. Click the move button, then without moving click on hypnotic gaze then click on your target.
It doesn't pop up a box for you to pick your target or anything, just click on them on the pitch. |

OK, must have been doing something wrong. I'll try again next time. |

Having never used fairies there could possibly be something different e.g. the vamp needs to roll Off For a Bite first so maybe this not being there affects it??!? |

Count Whathisname (Starplayer) doesn't have OFAB like the other vampires, and he doesn't mind HG'ing without moving, so I don't think OFAB affect if it's possible to HG or not.
It's been a while since i played my fairies, but can't remember any problems using HG. |

the real problem with HG is that the client won't let you use it
a) when you have used all your GFIs (same as a foul)
b) when you have failed an OFAB roll |
