Hi,
when I run javabowl under Debian Linux (don't have another one at my disposal) I can not see the ball as soon as any player is holding it.
Anybody else have that problem? And a solution maybe?

theres a previaus post with a solution to that problem, it has to do with linux being case sensitive about file names, af far as i remember there were 3 files in the pics folder that has to be renamed.
hope this was helpfull |

Thanks for the quick replies ...
I renamed selBall3.gif and holdBall3.gif and replaced the B with a b. It seems to be enough.
Candlejack, I don't know if it's a good idea to rename everything as the rest seems to show up fine (such as dwBlitzer.gif and such).
SkiJunkie, maybe you could change these filenames in the distribution? We would all love you even more ... |

Sorry cant resist...
(sing to the tune of Colonel Bogey’s March - the whislting song in Bridge over the River Kwai)
Hitler he had just one ball
Goering, had two but they were small
Himmler, now his were sim'lar
but poor Goebbels had no balls at all!
*drink beer, sing again louder x 10*
note: pronounce Geoebbels as Go-balls |
