hi, as a relatively new coach to faction, i wonder how many faction players use the gamefinder? I'm having difficulty finding games in 3d, so would like to know how everyone else manages it:) Is it just PM a likely opponent, or in IRC or what? |

Games in faction are hard for me to find as well.. Sometimes I think they should have 30 spots open for players so that games are easier to find.
Especially if a couple teams get promoted that really didn't want to be promoted causing them to sit playing no games and taking up those slots for the two weeks everyone is trying to play their 8 games. |

I bet you both do not play elves.
Faction is hard to find games only if you play 'hard' teams.
Try elves. You will find matches.
Sad but true... |

Skaven and Chaos Dwarves.. Ironically my Skaven average more casualties a game then my Chaos Dwarves and everyone jumps to play my Skaven.
Heck I even did more casualties to an Orc team with my Skaven then he did me. |

When i look at my elves having an elf team in faction isn't that wise. After three games i have 6 players for next match. Two will come back for next match, but thats anyway only 8 players for future, IF no more injuries happen. And no wonder, everyone tries to match me... |

well, how about this: what about a thread for each faction (ie, 1, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, Q) where each coach just posts what times (roughly) are good for games? or at least when to catch them in IRC. That might be a useful resource. |

Thats a good idea, I stopped playing faction because of not finding opponents. |

Wait a few days. As long as you haven't played you can change you're faction group a,b,c or d). Change to the group in wich you can compete and were the most games are played. |

What if instead of factions 3 a, b, c and d there was only one large faction 3 and similarily only one faction 2? This would probably make it easier to find games in those factions. Now I do realize that the current system has been created for a reason, so could someone explain what are the benefits of separate groups at the same faction level? |
