Sure it is. Quote: | If a player is pushed back into a player with using Stand Firm then neither player moves. |

You'd assume it's activated unless the coach who is pushing controls the player with Stand Firm. |

Werewolf pushes into flesh golem. Both were my players. I would have used stand firm if it let me. |

I think stand firm is only supposed to work if the player is blocked directly. |

A player with this skill may choose to not be pushed back as the result of
a block. He may choose to ignore being pushed by ‘Pushed’ results, and
to have 'Knock-down' results knock the player down in the square where
he started. If a player is pushed back into a player with using Stand Firm
then neither player moves. |

Yup, Side step is supposed to work on chainpushes too.
This is an old bug btw, There should already be another entry somewhere. |

Ooooh, that's interesting news. I thought it was the other way round. Cheers for clearing that up Shraaaag. |

Just adding to this.
My golem was moved with a chain push, did not get the Use stand firm dialogue.
Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.4, fully updated.
Java version (no idea) |

yes (if i read it correctly). of only when all squares are occupied by players as usual.
the order is:
1st you announce you push the blocked player into the SF player.
2nd the coach of the SF player decides if he wants to use SF.
-> if yes: neither player moves (see shraaags quote from rulebook)

i understand that the stand firm dialog doesn't pop if the sf player is part of the active team. The reasoning is that if you deliberately push your player, is that you want him to move. I guess Kalimar didn't consider that someone may want to avoid the pushing chain by doing that. |

nope, SF never works on chainpushes, it's implemented wrongly, this is already in the bugs list though. |
