Considering I was the one who did this, you may not take my advice. But I would retire him. As nice as he is, he's counting a ton towards your Team Value, and 1 ST means he's going to get 3-die blocked A LOT. It's only a matter of time before he gets injured again.
Sorry the apothecary didn't work. |

Seeing as how he's your only guard I would keep him until you can get guard on another player. |

With leap and guard, he is a nice support in a leap/strip ball situation. However he is rather expensive, and probably will get targeted and hurt early on in a game. I'd retire him. |

A St1 guy with a skill that requires him to stand in a tacklezone....
I think I'd sack him |

This is a good time to let a former star of the team retire. |

The player still performs his basic role perfectly ok. Not sure tbh. |

I'd keep him for a game and two and see how I can play with him - if I can use his guard to get rid of ppl next to him: fine, then they will need to use up their blitzes. If not: fire him. |

Fire his ass. A strength 1 player barely exerts any influence on the field at all, regardless of skills. I would only keep him for LOS fodder if you were short of players temporarily. |

Retire, a st1 guard player will just get killed very quickly. There is no point in keeping him on the field to die as he increases your TV too much. |

retire him. Right now he should count 190k vs your TV which is pretty insane for a ST1 player. Even though he is your only guard player, there is just no way he is worth 190k, as there is a decent chance that his guard will never be used in a crucial spot in most games, as he is a fairly easy target. At 190k he should be a game changer, a superstar, a fearsome player. He is none of that |

He is an easy target true.
But he still is a jump upper 2+ leaper guard. He will be were you need him.
And actually, being a blodger the chance to knock him over with a block w/o tackle is:
1d: 0.17
2d: 0.31
3d: 0.41 (which is better for him than a 2d block by a tackler! - 0.56)
which is not too bad at all - and his sidestep can safe him from further grief.
I still would try that out for another match and see - of course he's not a player for the long term, but I wouldn't necessarily fire him, just wait until he gets beaten up more and no apo for him. |

If this was in a league with a fixed schedule, I might be able to agree with you, but not in an open league like fumbbl. He will hurt his own team in the way, that they will player tougher teams. 190k means more tackle, mighty blow, pilling on, claw. I just don't see, how he can ever be worth the 190k in such a system (or even 110k, when you pick up a new one). |

if the player had base s3 then I'd say definatly keep him...
but a s1 guard is well... it's something everyone wants to meet I think, even with dodge II'm worried about his survivability |
