Stand Firm or Two Heads
Two heads????? you say -
yep - with AG4 you will need a 2+ to dodge in and out of a tackle zone and you can use it for EVERY dodge. |

I've taken leap on a beastman with AG 4 - great for cagebreaking, but with only M6 they're never in the same place at the same time. I'd even consider taking M over VLL, because at least if you roll doubles again you can take VLL. As for pass/accurate, Chaos teams that aren't on the losing end of a game seem to have a good handle on the ball, so it seems that handoffs do well enough in that situation - if you're looking to build spps, you're still able to make quick passes okay anyways. Stand firm is REALLY good, as in fumbbl you're inevitably gonna roll double ones on a dodge or something, and many people don't factor SF in if they're looking for a push-chain or a crowdpush. Foul appearance is also really good, and that would be my choice in the situation. |

Keep him safer when he has the ball and a mean pass interferer when he gets pass block.
Dodge is just stupid. Most opponents will have a tackle or two and chaos can gain an advantage by having NO dodgers and hence the tacklers are wasted skills. AG4 shouldnt need dodge rerolls often anyways. Nor should chaos. |

I lean to Foul Appearance now. It's a multi-purpose mutation and it protects your player.
Not to mention the idea of a pass-blocking foul app/ag4 beast.... |

i would be tempte to give him Frenzy... hes got block as it is, hes got agility 4 so he has the abiltiy to get free of a tackle zone, mixed with horns, frenzy and ull have your self a nice little blitzer there, able to really rip open a whole in adefencive line, or with a skill next roll, (20 spps away) stripball, or tackle... and if he decides to throw and 1 dice blocks when he follows up for his second roll he counts as str 4 anyways, i find frenzy infinatly usefull on beastmen |

Not as much as horns+dauntless, though. That way, regardless the enemy strength, you're going to get a 2d block by yourself (barring guard interference). That ogre's standing in the way of the endzone, and nobody else can get there to help? No problem! (This is the dream of many skaven coaches for their gutters, but chaosbeasts can get it easier, as they start with horns. This means a second double could give them frenzy or claw or whatnot...) |

Quote: | Horns (Physical Trait)
A player with horns may use them to butt an opponent. This adds
+1 to the player’s Strength when he makes a block. However, the
player may only use this ability as part of a Blitz, and only if he
has moved at least one square before he makes the block
(standing up at the start of your action does not count!). If the
player has the Frenzy trait, then the horns bonus applies on the
second block if it applied on the first. |

Meaning you only get +1 if you use blitz. Plain block isnt enough even for the followup... |

Chaos doesn't need a passer.
I definately vote for FA. VLL is also a good choice.... |
