Well Bessenbruck showed us last year in the FC that humans need 3+ PO/MB/T blitzers to be succesful in majors + a really mean DP boot. Not to mention their other success in Box majors. Success as defined by really deep runs. Bessenbruck was a final 8 team in the FC last year.
OTS humans are nice but not the path to victory for humanity. OTS human catchers are tough to make, you have to be really lucky to get one! OTS Gutters on the other hand are a dime a dozen. |

the key player for skavies is the clawpomber, so easy to oneturn with a mov9 side step guy, so a natural oneturner isnt a need from my point of view.
and what about the wrestle strip daunt gutter?? i guess it is another key player, more important thant the natural OTs
With one AG4 skink is enougth, the most important part is try to have 6 developed saurius (and the hard part too) |

But the question on everybodies mind has not been answered yet! Will the Roedoers! get their shiney new Temple Guardian in time for the FC? Are they going to even enter the FC and take their shot at the legendary back to back majors win? |

probably u can win without it... |
Your missing the point. This is a big picture discussion. Do Skaven need CPOMB and/or OTS gutters to be succesful?
We have two skaven teams winning majors this year and both of them have CPOMB and OTS gutters.
Bottom line: IF you are making a skaven team to enter Majors do you NEED one or both of those componets to be able to compete at a very high level?
Just like the big picture on Lizardmen...do they NEED atleast one AG4 skink to handle the ball or do they need 2 of them? |
Hmm...one of the skaven teams that won a major did not have a OTS gutter runner - at least not a natural one turner. So perhaps there is a misunderstanding - what do you mean by "OTS Gutter"? With a base MA of 9 and sidestep a common skill...every skaven team has the ability to one turn it - but not every skaven team has natural 1-turners. |

skaven dont need it, but it helps a lot. they can surely win without the clawpomber, but it helps them to remove opponents from the pitch, giving better chances to get less pain themselves (and vs av7, pomb is the clawpomb, so skaven need to defend themselves a oneturner surely helps in games that go bad, only one should not rely on it 100% nor bench it all teh time (too much tv to sit it out always)
as far as humanity hopes go, i am really looking forward to see how the snow stalkers do... ma 9 blitzer, oneturner, 2 pombers, ma 7 st 4 lineman and an elfy thrower make that team as competetive as humans can be.... they will probably do well untiel they dont roll the 3 they need...
as for lizardmen, they dont need a ag4 skink.... they just need to roll 3 or higher if they have none |
