Not sure if this was suggested in the vast array of forum posts on how to "fix" anything on the site.... but was just wondering about a couple things:


A) Has anyone ever suggested a division where teams could be pit against any team regardless of TV?!

B) Would anyone play there if there was?


I would call the division "Mash Tun"... but maybe that's because I spent the morning looking at all grain brewing supplies Wink Tawk 'mongst y'selves...

you can do that in stunty but its unfortunatley not random.. i would LOVE a stunty blackbox though. you would have to enter a minimum of 5 teams or somesuch for the random though whether its stunty or not.

That's because Stunty is still [L]eague... this would not be a league division. Good idea for stunty maybe... but that's changing the subject. Make your own forum, Lorebass!! Wink

nuhuh. i was just saying that this randomness worked well on another site i used to play on. 5 teams minimum activated 4 coaches minimum. and then you just get what you get!

I assume I would play in it. Nice to get inducements sometimes. You wouldn't get a bunch of low TV cheese teams either.

However, if U could convince 'the powers that be' to change box to include a tv difference of say 20-30% it might be ok. You'd have to get a lot if backing though, or it would get dismissed without due consideration.

Could you not run this pccasionally using a combination of Irc chat and ranked: at least five coaches commit to playing, roll dice in chat to see who plays who and the roll dice again to see with which teams? You'd need to have teams that have played enough games to ignore tv caps and an even number of coaches

For me it would be much better.
No more minmax and much less TV management.
Maybe a more important number of "unfair" match-up but unfair in a good way resulting in more enjoyable and varied games, at least for me.
i don't mind playing with huge inducement when not in a MM TV system.
Would be harder for new team but more fun too and more rewarding.
I'm not for one more division though.
