UPDATE: Tackle was taken as his 3rd skill, he's now up to skill #4.
https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=9835124
What should be skill number 4?
Dodge to help him move around & live longer?
Jump Up to compliment Piling On?
Frenzy to help him do more damage?

So, my High Elf Blitzer has got his 3rd skill, all of them doubles.
I first took Mighty Blow and then Piling On to go with that.
With the next skill, I was planning to take Tackle, to make him a better killer, but then... another double.
Guard is the only double skill I'm considering, but I don't think it matches well with Piling On.
The other option would be Dodge, to help him move around better and harder to bring down.
So far I've used him mainly as a sniper/blitzer, not as a cage corner.
Only 1 other player on the team has Guard already.
Here is the rest of the team
Any opinions on what I should take? |

Juggs? Cancels fend, wrestle and Stand Firm. Fend and wrestle being most annoying for POMB'ers... |

Tackle. No room for doubles just for the sake of it.
And Jump Up after that. |

Lowish TV elfs with a tackle/Pomber and he should skill up to 51spp pretty quickly even if you don't feed him TDs.
There is no 3rd double that really makes him better than what tackle would give him. I could see giving him guard at some later skill up if another double comes up, but I could also see skipping it and taking dodge then jump-up then side step at legend, or fend at legend if you are more worried about pombers than his getting surfed. |

Though it is true, when these skill threads pop up the answer is sooooo obviously 99.9% of the time. |

Thick skull is marginally useful for that type of player, but only after the basic skills. Ignore the double, and take either block or tackle. I would probably lean toward block, as I would feel extremely stupid if he would die to a both down, but I agree that tackle would be better for the short term effectiveness.
So if you are in a win now mode, then take tackle, if you want to preserve this special player, then take block. |

Dirty Player or Sneaky Git.
The answer is so obvious. |

Grab is pretty decent too. Elves can really benefit from it in their usual playstyle, setting up oneturn scores without using blitz, negating sidestep, etc. |
