I turned on java tracing, and found this error:

Happens every game, in the second half or so. |

This has happened to me every game since the server update, most times for once for each coach. |

I've also had this when speccing. Less predictable time-wise, but that may be because I've joined later in the game. |

Yeah, I personally suspect that it goes along fine playing sounds until it has played enough sounds that it runs out of memory and crashes. It's likely you could avoid the crashes by muting the sounds, I think I'll try that now. |

Couldn't we just turn the volume down and make less noise? |

OR...
The client usually crashes in the 2nd half, right? So if you have 2 speakers, just unplug one of them! That will only make half the noise, and that should be ample for 2 full halves, maybe even into Overtime!
Just tryin' to be helpful. |

Does the client know how many speakers are connected? |

Pfff - the client can't count!
Apparently it only cares about how much noise it's making. |

Confirmed, muted the client and spectated a whole match. No crash. |

I tried the same thing that Kryten suggested and I've now played 3 games without crashes. Never had the sound on anyway |

Also lost a blitz to this now. (not an important one, fortunately). |
