If you adore Vamps then that's what it should be. Maybe you will get good.
And if not you can just be the Vamp version of Painstate . |

Here's what I'm aiming for but having a tought time getting there
Run Slann with all positionals and try to get to:
2 Block MB PO Blitzers
2 Blodge Tackle SS Blitzers
1 Catcher built as passer
2 Blodge SH NOS catchers
1 Guard Catcher
2 Wrestle Strip linos
and a krox
but i'll be past 111 games in no time I think, so don't try and beat me!
Seriously though, its all about the fluff, as other coaches have said to you.
Find a good story to tell and run with it. Only way to keep your own interest. |

The poll is yet young mate. Combining the two never occurred to me... |

Also JF, I adore them IN THEORY. Practice seems to become quite painful we will see what the FUMBBLERS decide. |

With 37 votes cast the Slann mission seems way out in front.
This will be open until I see no activity so keep those votes coming! |

Having a (successful!) Vampire Team w/ 6 Vamps would be impressive enough.
Slann seems the most doable - if you want to make your mark, that would double the current record (and might even hit some Player records!).
But choose something you want to learn - after that many games, you'll certainly know them, for better or worse. |

That is certainly a plus. I have wanted to play them for ages. I just tend to do it on a whim then drop it after a game or two.
I can always keep the other one for a later time. |

You will be so frustrated with slann at the start. Just a warning. |

I tried a random skills team (along with some other stuff), it was a complete disaster, maybe because i used CDs and ended with a blocker with shadowing and dump off.... you may want to try it with another race though...

Why don't you just stick to a themed team and try to be as competitive as possible. Themed teams tend to be easier to get long-lived, make naming of new players easier and get more love from the owner and the crowd.
You can add some themed constrictions or development paths (see Agility Monsters) or not, and just try to be as competitive as possible. I believe pro elves are a good race to go: challenging yet winner race. If you select a lot of strange skill/recruitment restrictions your team will not be competitive and make it harder for you to keep playing it. |

Pro Elves give me the night terrors mate...
The Slann idea wouldn't have any funky restrictions. Would just be a theme and create a bit of a journey etc. |
