A question about the player naming, now that I need to prepare some replacement drones.
Would it be ok to prefix the "[number] of Sixteen" with a greek alphabet letter (english written form).
I think it would be more nice way to indicate the generation of a player instead of appending it with ", Alpha".
Examples:
Two of Sixteen (the original)
Beta Ten of Sixteen (second replacement)
Zeta Six of Sixteen (sixth replacement) |

It wouldn't be very borgish to start giving extra prefixes for borgs. Two of Sixteen is replaced with Two of Sixteen. |

@the conversation between the t*&^%$# guys .
you just replace the drone with an identical one. Some of us have put extra bits on like mine are: One of Sixteen-six for my cube number |

You are right. Actually it would be better to fluff up the player bio more with this idea, since the link to previously assimilated player needs to be put there (when I get some to my team depot...). |

Nice. I see the wardancer has been added so it's just another Dodge and Dump-Off from the runner |

Report from Testing Invasion Cube 001 encounter #2
Encountered Species:
Dwarves, First Contact
Information acquired:
The entities were superior in every aspect of the encounter. They hit hard and precisely, they are resilient and they can handle the ball very well. Remarkable fighting techniques both on their own and as group. Also used some special boots ("Kicking Boots") that the third party called "referee" didn't like.
Scans indicate they are not suitable drones, but assimilation of this species has top priority to improve Borg melee skills an be prepared for future encounters.
Threat assessment:
VERY HIGH. They removed our drones quickly and with nothing but bare fists. One drone has been destroyed.
No viable counter-strategy could be developed during the encounter.
Assimilations:
Impossible in this uphill battle.
Complete data records of the encounter can be found here.

Needs adding to Assimilations skill list too. Dodge and Dump Off |

Humans are of course species 5618. Dark Elves are like bad elves and since Romulans are the bad elves in Star Trek they get their designation as species 3783.
Anything else? Klingons ~~ Orcs -> Species 5008 ? |
I like that idea. If you provide a complete list of IDs for all species, I'll create a list in the Hive Mind with all of them that we already have encountered. Note that players of the same team often belong to different species though. And in some cases it's not easy to tell whether they are the same or not (Underworld goblins vs. normal goblins for example).
I won't translate FUMBBL teams/races directly into Star Trek races anywhere, but I don't mind if you use the IDs of the latter if you see similarities. |

I already did, josh. Just didn't bother to write another "updated banner" - just changed the top 3 in my previous announcement.
Quite big assimilations there! Two elves to serve as drones and more instances of Dodge and Block. Let's see when the lists starts to "stabilize" and becomes boring.
Edit:
And thanks for the code! FRSHMN will appreciate that. |
