OK...our favorite polls that generate a lot of criticism....a skill choice!
This player rolled his third double in row. I took Guard and Mighty Blow already. Now, he is just a regular ole Dark Elf lino so his longevity probably will not be too long, who knows.
Should I go with PO, grab or Thick Skull to continue with the doubles rolls?
Keep him alive and more useful with block?
My instinct is block.....but to deny nuffles double ones can bite you in the ass. |

Voted piling on.
Should help him skill up faster and grab block, tackle.
JU for legend.
Shame he got guard as first skill, because that doesn't combo well with pomb, but i feel elves can't really pass on the chance of having a pomber. |

Probably Piling On, as then if he makes it to 51 spp he will be a great asset if you are still lacking doubles on other blitzers. However it will mean you will be using him for blitzing a lot which will slow down your real blitzers progress from casualties. |

Block, Side Step or Fend to keep up his survival would be my next choice. If you expect him to die fast, Piling On just for that many more injuries before he eats boots. |

I would go block since he has Guard.
Block will up his cas rate a bit, less chance of you giving turnovers away, give you more chance of a turnover and act as protection allowing him to stay on his feet more and use his guard skill. And of course save the odd RR from time to time.
PO is ok but not any more than an ok choice since he already has Guard. It's really a waste of TV and a waste of your only guard player to go for PO. |

Retire and pick T-Pomb or Blodge Guard next time. |

Piling On. He'll be a target but as some others have mentioned it's 2 doubles that may not happen on another player soon. Enjoy it while it lasts |

This is CRP - PO.
Ignore next doubles for Block, and pray you don't roll 6,6.
Any later doubles (@ 76 or Legend) is Jump Up, altho' you do want a Blodger for survivability.

Because it's so easy to predict when doubles will come next.
(Jim, when are you going to lose that billboard in your sig line. Really?) |

So basically I should have forgone the second doubles once I took guard? I will have to speak to my clairvoyant next time I have a skill roll. |

I feel like you always take guard as the first double on the elf linemen, you can't predict a doubles streak on a player. You also don't turn down the chance to get some MB on there. If you rolled nothing but normals this tree would have been perfectly fine:
Guard, MB, Block, Dodge, SS, Tackle, JU
But seeing as you have rolled more doubles I guess it looks like this now:
Guard, MB, PO, Block, Dodge, Tackle, JU. And you might even go with tackle before Dodge.
I really like having a 5th psuedo blitzer with Delfs made out of whoever rolls +ST or gets some doubles once I already have enough Guard in place. |

You know players don't get 7 skills any more, right? |
