The team captain Baron Necktearer has finally reached Legend. Currently Blodge, +st, Guard, Tackle he has a regular skill choice to make.
Next season the Alderman High Vipers may well be relegated to the second division.
Which skill is going to help the team return to their rightful place on the top tier of HUBBA.
Mighty Blow. As strong as an Ogre and as agile as an elf he can hit like a freight train.
Sidestep. Do you want a 5st blodge guard in your cage?
Stand firm. Come at me Bro! He's not giving up his position.
Pro. He's going to control his bloodlust and get in the right position to help the team.
22/7
Something else? Please elaborate.
I will leave the poll open for 7 days and then accept the choice of you the fumbll community!!
Yikes. |

You have a lot of long lived players in the team there, even Thralls. I gues they will enjoy smashin foes up in the 2nd division.
Pro is a suitable skill for a legend Vamp to help limit the lustiness or improve his gaze. |

As GaryT1 said Pro helps, but is not to be relied on at all. I especially use the hell out of it on Gaze. |

Not a fan of Guard on Vamps, but seeing as you have it SS gets even better. |

If you go Pro with him consider going Pro with all other vamps in their Legend skills (unless stats and maybe PO for the killer) and the +st one after blodge.
If not Pro I think I d take Break Tackle. |

It has to be MightyBlow..why?
He averages 6+ blocks per match, he is your blitzer vampire. Take MB and increase his firepower. |

You've really painted yourself into a corner with your team's skill selections.
Vamp teams live and die by RR's (and not biting too many Thralls), and Pro cuts down on those so much thru an entire half. Plus it's a 50% RR every Turn, on every Pro, for rolls that really don't matter to the drive (but would be "nice" to RR). Many coaches aim to have Pro on ALL their vamps by skill #3. You have none, which probably contributes heavily to why your team is < .500, esp in your last 10 games. :/
MB on a St 5 Tackler is great, no doubt, but you already have St 4 Duke McBitey with MB, Tackle and Jump Up, and you could go that way with Lord Lacerator (+St, 7 spp*) if you really wanted to - meanwhile you need more Pro across the team if you're going to be competitive, and with 3 Superstars other than Lord L, this is the last chance you'll have for a while.
(* Block, then (in some order) MB, Pro and Dodge, then Tackle.)

Of course - if it could cause a turnover, or is needed to score or stop a score, it's a Team RR, no question. Pro's mainly there for the negatrait (when not drive-critical), but if the Vamp passes that roll at the start of their action, then it can be used for anything else.
o You fail BL, but you have a Thrall to bite - it's doable, but would rather not. 50% of those thralls dodge the bullet and survive, standing, 'til next turn.
o Hypno Eye (when not critical) - 50% more hypnotized oppos means better position and bash during a drive.
o Blitzes on high-value targets that roll Push.
o Surfs that roll Both-Down.
o Late-Turn dodges that fail.
etc., etc., etc. |

Retire. 1 stat increase is well below par for a legend vamp. |

Pro or Leap,
Pro for all the reasons above...
Leap because a leap on 3+ with Block Tackle and St5 means you can crush almost any ball carrier from almost any defensive position.
Oh you have a nice cage there, let me mark the one non guard you have on the edge with a thrall, leap, and green block the ball. Then my other awesome vamps will just come take that from you. Thanks for playing... |
