With aging back, no player will reach 128 games anyway. |
naa it doesnt work the same,
Ageing, as far as I read it on their website:
A newly recruited player is about 17 to 19 years old.
Every 8 matches a years has passed in ingame time.
At age 31, there is a 40 % chance of him retiring.
At age 32, the chance of him retiring gets up to 60 %.
At age 33, the player retires, no matter what.
So, in a worst case scenario, your player starts at age 19 und retires at age 31.
31 - 19 = 12 years. 12 x 8 = 96 matches.
Best case scenario, player start with 17 and retires at age 33.
33 - 17 = 16 years. 16 x 8 = 128 matches. |
Yikes.
Squamosa hates that idea! | yup that's terrible for all stunty teams. |

Then again, if you want to build a seriously nasty team feeding off noobs, then BB2 is the place to be right now! |

I've got the game (for free) and haven't installed it. I've watched some streams, it looks pretty but has severe problems.
I'm tempted to play only to see if I could win 8-0, surf 11 players etc. |

I appreciate that the Blood Bowl 2 release is a sizeable news story in our hobby right now. It's only right we talk about it.
But.
How many threads do we really need? We surely don't need house ruled rosters, bashing streamers, rules changes, what stadium upgrade do I need, is it any good, how can I use my Godzilla positionals on my Bret team effectively, and whatever else we have at the moment.
Would it be appropriate at this juncture to begin a 'BB2 Megathread' sticky and just funnel it all in there? We have probably generated 25 pages this week, about 4 of which are original content. I think one big thread with an up to date OP summary would be a lot more serviceable. |
