Wondering if this is possible. If so please let me know where to find how to set it up.
Was wanting to house rule a tournament where mng players were knocked out of all subsequent games in that one tourney. ie: mng in 1st game was not able to return to games until after the team lost in the 4th round.
Might require other house rules as in extreme cases where a team might need to field less than 3 on the los.
Is this possible in the current format? If not able to be automated by house rules is this something that could be handled post match by the admin?
Thanks for your help! |

If teams are created only for this tournament then coaches could fire players themselves. Admin just needs to check post-match report to see if anyone is injured so he could know who is not supposed to play next match.
Maybe if penalty would be disqualification then coaches wouldn't be tempted to cheat? Or if it's otherwise non-inducement league, then if someone cheats then opponent gets wiz? |

I was thinking more in a long-running league setting where this is just one type of tournament that would be played, true king of the hill style. It wouldn't work for coaches to fire skilled players though I guess the admin could recreate that player and add it back to the team after the tournament but just seeking an easier solution. |

Back in the day (strokes greybeard) serious injuries carried a weeks out penalty. For example, a broken rib might have a 2 weeks out, or two matches to heal before returning to play. However, some teams just collapsed from injuries sustained, if one had a run of bad luck or played a soft team like flings or av 7 elves and skaven. So be prepared for a shift in your specific meta towards av 9 bash, aka dorfs and or orcs. |

You could handle it with custom rosters. Lets say you track your spps manually, do skill rolls manually, and then you can anytime recreate a player. (custom roster can store the actual stats so it is a matter of hiring firing.)
It is like doing it on paper. |

TV and inducements wouldn't calculate properly |

Several options:
1. Live with it
2. Give several billion to every team and merely track spending and TV by hand...
3. Give several billion to every team, only track TV and inducements, don't allow any extra spending on inducements and just let everyone spend as much as they want...
4. Make custom teams, treat SPP and skill gain as normal but modify player TV by hand when one gets injured.
5. What Andras suggested, the complete manual skill tracking is of course also an option that fixes the problem altogether but it also comes at the highest maintenance cost... + skills will meld with default skills and make player skills harder to read... |
