An alternative hypothesis is that GW received some backlash against their intended buffs. This would mean it's not a list of things they have mistyped, but amendments after feedback.
Can anyone confirm that the errata I cited comes from BB's website?
Edit: checked myself, see below. |

Also, the poll needs a 'meh' option. No choice describes how I feel. |

And then Nuffle created pie, Nightbird.
I should note this confusion from the Optional League Rules:
Quote: | Another way to personalize your league is to change the prizes that are awarded at the end of the season. The winner of the Dungeonbowl, for instance, gets to add a Wizard to their permanent coaching staff for the duration of the following season, [...] |
Since the Wizard hasn't been described in the rulz, it's a bit strange.
***
Speaking of which, here's the inducement list:
- Bloodweiser Kegs (I applaud the removal of the "babes");
- Bribes;
- Extra Team Training;
- Mercenaries;
- Special Plays;
- Star Players;
- Wandering Apos.
No more wiz, kids.
Seems that the Special Play cards have changed. I count 20. Their titles: Bad Habits, Badyear Git, Ball Clone (sigh), Blackmail, Ego Trip, Everyone's an Expert, Friendly Fans, Get'Em Lads!, Heckler, Hometown Fans, Incoming!, Iron Man, Johnny Waterboy, Kid Gloves, Knuckledusters, Magic Sponge, Mine, Rakarth's Curse of Petty Spite, Rowdy Fans, Sprinkler Malfunction.
No idea how it compares with the list we have.
So I have no idea where Geggster's Two new Special Play card decks and teams get 1-3 cards come from. |

Now I do: if I flip the cards, I can see Random Events and Miscellaneous Mayhem.
Y U NO DO SAME COLORS ON BOTH SIDES, GW? |

Mayhem cards are: Bad Habits, Blackmail, Ego Trip, Get Em Lads, Iron Man, Kid Gloves, Knuckledusters, Magic Sponge, Mine, and Rakarth's Curse of Petty Spite.
Random Events are: Badyear Git, Ball Clone (sigh), Everone's an Expert..., Friendly Fans, Heckler, Hometown Fans, Incoming!, Johnny Waterboy, Rowdy Fans, and Sprinkler Malfunction.
From the look of it, the Mayhem cards are awesome and the Random Events a bit less meh. No more Custard Pie, though.
No idea why there are cards of generic players. |

4 the n00bs to keep track of the stats & skills while they're playing. |

In my days, there were team lists for that. |

Custard Pie was never in Misc. Mayhem (now Random Events). It was a Dirty Trick. The player aid cards are a nice touch, remember the box is a starter for new players.
I am enjoying the slow realisation that the linked list is correct, but it would save time and confusion to just accept it. |

It's rather a shame there isn't a face palm smiley, really. I'll leave you to it.
(Edit: Even if you've now gotten around to the correct information (yay), I don't think you should be linking GW material directly on FUMBBL. Just direct people to BloodBowl.com if necessary?) |

The "GW material" I cited is an errata has been released on the Internet by GW itself. It contains no creative content. There are no legal concerns here, and insinuating so would be legally confusing.
I removed it. To find it back:
1. Go to the official site's landing page.
2. Find the Downloads section.
3. Click on the 3rd dot or scroll on the list. |

For good measures, here is the official clause, which reiterates common knowlwedge:
Quote: | Linking to our site
You may link to our website, or any page within it for personal (non-commercial) reasons, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. |

" Claw and Grab skills returned to CRP versions"
This is the WORST idea in the new ruleset.
Ok along with 60k human catchers... Ok marginal improvement but make them av8 and 70k. Give the human teams something to hope for please. |

Yes, yes. Fair enough.
I settled on 'a bit better than a piece of pie'...

Agreed, though not sure it's the 'worst' idea. The worst idea, IMO, is all the changes that were left out & not even considered thoughtfully. Would have liked to see grab included in blitzes & claw not stacking w/ mighty blow though.
As for human catchers, if they were not going to change stats I guess this is fine, but not optimal IMO. Human catchers strength still on par w/ wood elf catchers while high elfs & pro elfs still sport ST3 is just silly to me. The buff should have always been ST3 for human catchers, IMO, & raise the price to 80K. Still waiting for humans to have 0-4 halflings too! |

Yeah, let's give human catchers werewolves statlines and make them cheaper than a blitzer...
the 60k change makes lots of sense imo, unless we wanted to see humans become a top tier team. The fun in playing them is that you're always the underdog. |
