One of my linemen has block and dauntless but has just received a niggling injury, is he worth keeping or would i be better served replacing him to ensure i have a full complement of players? |

You don't want him eating up MVPs! |

If you have way more than 11 guys in your roster, no worries. If you have only 11 or even less, a niggler might cause problems. |

I usually keep a niggled player if he fulfills a function that can't be taken over by another player on the team. Also, niggles are pretty frequent on AV7 teams - those players might be better used a linefodder. |

It all depends on what your goals are, and what state the team is in. A healthy team should retire him, take the reduction in TR gleefully, and work on a replacement.
But if you aren't lucky enough to have spare players, you need to keep the niggler for a couple of games and try to save some money, while trying to give the spp's to other players. |

Dauntless is a decent skill to have. I'm very anti-niggle but in this case, especially since you only field 11 for your next game, I'd keep him. |

Yep, since you've got an MNG player on the roster too, I'd keep him for at least the next game. Since you'll be able to easily replace him after next game, and still keep 12 players, I'd fire him then. |

Stick him on the LOS and see how long he can hold out. |

my main elven team has 6 nigglings... till they have 3-4 nigglings and start missing most of the games i'm keeping them... you see, with elven teams you often are on the receiving end of some serious punishment, and u learn to adapt, or in blood bowl terms, to field just 3 elves on the LOS and score. if a niggling kicks in, well, live with it... make sure u have 12-14 players around to compensate...
actually, i have a lineman with blodge and strip ball, niggling and -1ma... and there is no way he is gonna retire anytime soon! too useful! and thanks to his strip ball, he is always the main blocking target... draws away a lot of potential blocks and lives to tell the tale! perfect fodder imo! |
