Got on a certain dwarven player's public blacklist for failing to respond to a "finish your turns in one minute or I'll foul your skinks" statement, and not agreeing to skip my remaining turns just because I had already won the game
Earned me the comment "slow player and slow brain".
(got the extra td's for a 4-0 victory, I don't give in to terrorists ) |

I must admit I have a blacklist... though nobodys on it
Honestly, I was put on a DNP-list couple of days ago, because I did foul. Well, playing against 3 MB, PO norse blitzers is not funny, so I fouled them. The coach had in his bio that he didn't like fouling. Well, I fouled, he retaliated and I ended up on his DNP list (nasty coaches list he called it). Don't want to turn this into a fouling thread so I try to stick with the topic. I do not like BlackLists as they encurage other coaches not to play coaches on that list. Personally I only would put a coach on such a list for insulting me personally, at a point where my opponent looses the ability to distinguish between game and reality. Abusive language, threats and stuff. Hasn't happened so far (at least not without the coach excusing heavily afterwards) so I have an empty Blacklist. Even if there would be someone on it, I would keep it secret as it is a part my reception of things and my personal attitude. |

my 2 best reasons for being put on a blacklist:
1) my heavily beaten up chaos (8 men available) but 2 with dp were challenged by a human team with 20 points on ts on them but still getting handicaps. there was no mention of a recovery game as i dont look for them or give them (i play the way i want and hope others do with me). when i fouled on my first turn i got the response "for f***s sake you pr*** what are you doing???" a slight over reaction to a ko i felt. then he started fouling me back randomly with single players failing to do anything but take the eye off me and calling me "a filthy fat cheat" and telling me my baby was hideous (hed looked at my coach pic). He conceeded on turn 5 with the message i cant believe what a c**t you are i hope you die soon". im now on his dnp list as one of the most unsporting people hes ever met (no i didnt report this guy..... was too busy laughing)
2) reported a guy who i saw asking another coach to allow him to cheat after managing to trap him into saying it too me in pm and he admitted to doing it regularly. im now on his list with the advice that non of you should play me ..... i think hes right
i will not give these coaches names as i dont think its fair as it would only be my side of the story but i just wanted to show that somtimes dnp lists are written by lunatics and people who should only be allowed on a computer after being heavily medicated |

Do you watch these games to make your choices for your blacklist? Or is it from the game comments that you might have read and chose to add them to the list? |
Let's see 3 (the number that I didn't participate in) / 14 = 21%. Where did you get 70% from?
And yes, I did watch the games.
Apparently, html comments <!-- don't obscure in FUMBBL pages --> bummer. |

I'd be all over this one, great idea Ash. In fact, I code in php from time to time (as I'm sure several others here do) if help is needed. |

Cool! You are on my list for reasons given in page 2...but now that I see that you are an Aussie...and from what I can tell NOT in the SWL...well...even MORE reason to have you on the list
In fact...I am going to create a 3rd kind of list...and put you on that one too! |

Seriously though, this thread has about as much "point" to it as a fouling thread... |

In my oppinion its perfectly ok to have a black list, I mean SLOW players, excesive foulers and so on should be on public display that way they wont get any games. I have no problem with fouling, its part of the game but if someone fouls me in turn 16 I just wont play them again. I think there should be average turn time on the players info page!!!!!! |
