Looking to get back into FUMBBL and over the 3+ years i've been away it seems the rules have undergone a few changes and also FUMBBl has too.
I was wondering if someone could give me an abbreviated refresher course on the main bulletpoints of what's changed since 2014 and also perhaps point me in the direction of where i can download the most up to date versions of the rules used. |

Yes, yes i knowe, i found Secret League already and have been doing all the reading on the dozens of new teams in it. A lot of them i like a lot. Seems like a successor to Stunty which i had loads of fun with until it died off.
I'm going to be entering the Sl Rookie Rumble, so am currently trying to find the latest BB rulebook so i can get up to speed and also know what's changed so i don't do anything dumb. |

Rules have changed from CRP to BB2016
Not sure there's a public pdf of that, as it's for sale by GW
Main difference is Piling On skill is deleted so there's less attrition,
Also spiralling expenses replaced by expensive mistakes rules
So teams can now carry a bench, which means focusing only on killing is less viable as a winning strategy
Oh and there's no wizard for inducements. combined with the above factors results in generally larger teams, especially in tournaments |

Ah right. NAF have a guide
No PO, expensive mistakes, changed the name of everything.
Look out for expensive mistakes.
It is a bit of a mess now. |

Thanks. i mean i can't imagine really knowing all of the rules will make much of a difference. I had like a 25% win percentage before i left so i doubt anyone would notice hehe |

I haven't properly read the new rules myself.
All of your cash is available to buy inducements with. That seems pretty confusing. Someone else had better explain that. |

The amount of gold you can spend on inducements is:
your Treasury + (TV difference x 1000).
For example:
1000 TV team A with 50,000 gps stored in Treasury faces 1100 TV team B.
Team A can spend up to 150,000 gps on inducements (100,000 due to TV difference and 50,000 from its own Treasury). |

That sounds a lot like the old rules. So what is different? |

No wizard!
Pilling on costs a reroll! (It is now optional for your league rules)
A bunch of positional names are changed! (Most suck)
Halfling Treemen got a buff! (Timberrrr)
ARGUING CALLS! (when your guy gets booted for fouling or secret weapons you can now argue the call and he goes to reserves instead on a 1d6 (Needs 6))
Those are some important ones to me. |

Though we would be a good match since neither of us do the whole winning thing very well |

Also instead of totally random MVPs you can now choose 3 MVP nominees, and the random roll is just between the three of them.
Human catchers reduced to 60K. |
