I would like to know two things.
1) How do you look up old matches (to get the actual match report)?
2) How do you modify links so that you can make a player's name clickable?
Figure someone may actually tell me, if I ask.....

Take a look at your match record (the link is under your teams, called "View Match Record") and you'll see all the games you have played.
Now if you click on the green D or R next to each match, you'll get to the match report. Ds are finished games with no extra info added to the report while Rs are games where one or more coaches wrote something afterwards.
As far as making player's names clickable, how you do it is based upon what context you are referring to. In most cases (like team bios and such) you can use HTML.
Code: | <a href="link to player here">Player's name</a> |

<a href= "http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1536976">Parker</a>
Did it work?
EDIT>>> I'm not getting this working, did I mis spaces, or am I a real idiot? I miss DOS..... |

Nope. Note the part about context.
In the forums, you want to use BBCode instead of HTML. In this case...
Code: | [url=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1536976]Parker[/url] |
Which ends up looking like this: Parker
( Also, remove the space after the = sign. It shouldn't make a difference for most browsers, but it's "more right" to do it without the space. Very minor thing. Other than that, you were dead on right. Copy and paste that into the team bio, for example, and it will work just fine. ) |

The forum uses another formula. If you click on preview and point your cursor above 'URL' button it will show you it. And don't use spacebar after the '=' . |

1) Type the specific team name into the search box at the top of this page to get the team, then look for a link that says "Show Matches", the page will refresh and how all matches played on FUMBBL with the team
Or if its one of your own teams, you can just do the same, only on your overview page
But if its the hard copy of the file, you will need to go to your JBB directory and look in the results folder and find the corresponding zip file which will contain the result files
2) Now this depends where the desired link is. if you want to place it in the forums you'll need Code: | [url="Link"]Link Text[/url] |
if its for a team bio etc you will need
[code] <a href="Link">Link Text</a>
but if its for a match report, im sorry but you cant use any stuff like that
This may have been no use to you and you probably knew it already but i might be misinterpreting your question

edit: add "url=" (without the quotes) between the [ and the http. |

Just change the { into [
This part is the URL, which shows up in your address window
This part is the text, which is what actually gets displayed in the text. |
