We also weren't sure if Trickster counted as a voluntary move; at one point my opponent teleported on to the ball and we had to ask the TO whether they could attempt a pickup.

What was the answer? This is intriguing as it is a voluntary move...

If the ball comes to you out of your turn (like a scatter), you get to catch it... why cant you do the reverse??

If you Sidestep onto the ball, you can't try to pick up it ... or can you? (I'm doubting myself now)

With sidestep you can't, but your opponent pushing you is not a voluntary move on your part. You're choosing the direction of an involuntary move, as I understand it

Thimble Cup plus two we don't show there yet - a Leaping Guard piece, and a gnome with a fishing rod

How come that doesn't match https://fumbbl.com/p/stars?for=Gnome+Thimble+Cup ? (the link from the Gnomes roster page)

Because my link is the correct one

Gnome Thimble Cup does not exist as a roster keyword AFAIK

The link for the latter just sends you to the "vanilla" stars such as Helmut, Akhorne, etc

Sometimes the wiki contains errors

So I tried the Trickster step onto the ball in a game last night... the ball auto scattered. Such a shame, would have been a nifty tactic!

Worth a shot!

I made an effort with this thread to derail the trashy one, but it didn't work, ah well.

True in forum threads as it is in marketing, it doesn't matter who hates you, just who loves you. If some folks love to bash on gnomes and others love gnomes, both threads will thrive, right?

so continuing here discussion: any other besides me who will reconsider the effectiveness of low-TV Gnomes after Elyod's exploit in the Tropy (at least for now)?
