This is a petition to add more options to not use dodge when blocked/blitzed. It has happened many times that I would not use dodge (on tabletop) in the sidelines, but the client does not ask it. Usually it happens when you get frenzyblocked, first or second block they choose pow/push and then you get in to the edge and just get blocked out.

It could trigger when a player with dodge gets blocked in the sidelines, no need to be in the middle area, maybe?

I'd like to disable Dodge as well, but the usual reason provided is reducing the client's dialogue pop-up windows.
I prefer to click an extra pop-up to switch off Dodge than having a Dodge player crowdsurfed.

It would be worth having it optional when on the LOS, as it is an important factor in one turn touchdowns, and not a whole lot any other time.

When a player gets blocked on the LOS Dodge is optional.

It is already optional when on LoS and when pushed towards the sideline, and in chainpushes too iirc... I think it covers most occasions you'd want to Opt not to use it... there are of course some fringe instances where it'd be nice, but they are few and far between and I'd prefer it not to pop up the vast majority of the time.

Imagine the amount of pop ups you'd get if you played Zons, with their dodge en masse, and once skilled SS and SF. It would be truly awful!

But there is no need to have EVERY turn the pop-ups enabled, and we are talking about the Wide Zone, not the whole pitch. That narrows down the potential pop-up spam when facing/playing as Amazons.
There could be a client's option to switch on/off Dodge usage for an important turn only (for example, turn 7-8, when about to score). That way most turns would not trigger the pop-up windows.
While you could afford to have a player crowdsurfed in a not important turn, it's totally different if you had few players left and/or you were about to score (and the surfable player could be a screen on next turn by staying on the pitch).
Flexibility in skills' usage is important.
I'd happily face the hassle of Dodge pop-ups to keep a player on the pitch, on certain turns.

Times I know the client asks:
1) when blocked on LOS so that a push could send you across scrimmage;
2) when a chain is created;
3) when you could be pushed into the two outermost columns.

Does Grab trigger a pop-up window? IMO, Grab and the initial Frenzy block should trigger a choice by default.

till the User Manual states that one player with dodge skill "may" chose to use the dodge skill when they are target of Block action and a Stumble result is applied against them, the FUMBBL client MUST ask for confirmation every time if a coach want to use or not this skill and this situation happen on one of his players(*).

Independently on the position of this player on the pitch.
Did I miss something?

(*) exception is "Blitz!" kick off event

Many skills can be used optionally according to BB rules, but, due to practical reasons (i.e. reducing the pop-up dialogue windows during a game) the client doesn't always ask to use them.
It's a compromise between rule-compliancy and smooth playability.
Even Block's usage is optional, just to make an example, but the client never asks to use it.
As an aside, if Dodge became optional, it would be nice a timer for using it.
All skills requiring opponent's decision should have a timer (10 seconds or so). In case the skill usage's timer expired, the skill could be either always used or never used by default.

If user manual states that a particular skill "may be" used by the player, fumbbl client should always ask with pop up window if you want to use this skill or not. by default.

Yes, but developers decided differently. Either we accept to play with the client as it is or we play BB somewhere else.
Consider the lack of optional skills' usage as a "house rule" made by the Commissioner. House rules are allowed by official ruleset.
